The vigil has grown each year and now resonates across the globe, empowering and uniting the LGBTQI+ communities to bring urgent attention to the plight of trans and gender diverse people. One thing is for sure its the first 100% Queer experimental new work to come out of the coast ever! "This is a must see work at this year’s fringe and audiences can only hope that these performers will be back on a stage near them / us soon. This year’s theme ‘Always was Always will be In case you didn’t know NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. COVID pushed July to NOV and here we are ! We have been thinking alot this year about the importance of marginalised peoples uniting and working together with allies for broad change that is fair, equitable and aligns with all peoples freedom and would like to think that we can all work towards a unified goal aka nobody is free until we are all free.
