25.01.2022 NOTICE TO MEMBERS - CLOSURE OF ALL CCTTA TABLE TENNIS VENUES The Prime minister Scott Morrison has announced that all Indoor sporting Venues are to be closed from midday today (23/3/20) for an indefinite period of time due to the risk of spread of Covid-19 virus. This includes all table tennis venue as advised by Table Tennis New South Wales. Unfortunately this means that all our venues will be closed immediately. 25.01.2022 Competition 3 has come to a close. Congratulations to all the teams that made the finals and to the winners. Next event will be the closed championships, which will run for the next 4 weeks.

24.01.2022 We are finished for the year. We would like to thank all our members participating in our events throughout the year. It has been a great year with outstanding player improvements and results. We look forward to another fun year of table tennis in 2017. Registrations will start on 12/1/17.

23.01.2022 We are half way through our first competition of the year!! Played under some hot conditions but hopefully things will cool down a bit. Results are out for Round 5 on our website or Teamapp.

22.01.2022 Competition 3 will be starting in two weeks time (10/8/17). Registration for the competition can be done at Niagara Park Stadium tonight (7:30-10:30pm) and next Thursday (7:30-10:30pm). If you can't make it to the registration, but want to play, contact us on [email protected].

21.01.2022 Hi Peeps, Registrations are now open for Comp 1, 2020. Please attend Registration nights on Thursday 9th and Thursday 16th January to register for Comp 1. Please note, draws will be published on CCTTA website and posted here on the Facebook pag on Wednesday 29th January in advance of round 1 on Thursday 30th January 2020.... Looking forward to seeing you all tonight or next Thursday night at Niagara Park Stadium! 19.01.2022 Hi members, just a quick note to let you know that Niagara Park Stadium has informed us that they will remain closed until June 30th 2020 at the earliest. Sadly not the news we've been hoping for but safety first seems to be a sensible approach. We will be in touch with updates as they arise.

19.01.2022 Following the recent fires and devestation both locally here in New South Wales and across Australia, it is great to learn of the upcoming Rally For Relief table tennis event being hosted by Inter University Table Tennis atUTS in Sydney. The date will be Saturday the 1st of February and IUTTA are inviting and welcoming players within the NSW metropolitan and country clubs to participate in this event for a much needed cause in fighting against the bushfires affecting many par...ts of Australia at the moment. 16.01.2022 Dear Members Due to the decision by the members survey not to resume competition this year the committee has been looking for alternative options for those who would like to have a social hit of table tennis. We are pleased to announce the re-opening of the Gosford Leisure Centre (see website for details) on Monday 19th October. There is a slight possibility it will resume tomorrow 12th October, please check website for confirmation.... Additionally we have secured another venue for a social hit which is: Woodport Public School, Ernest St Erina (when you turn into Ernest St from the Central Coast Hwy/the Entrance Rd the first driveway on the right leads you to the parking area for the school hall). Wednesday Night 7-9pm $5 Entry - Requires CCTTA membership to play. ($20 for social membership) 6 Tables available Beginners/Intermediate/Advanced players All are welcome, we hope to see you there.

Also an update of sorts - Niagara Park Stadium have let us know that they wont be reopening until July at the earliest so we're still a bit away. 13.01.2022 We had a very good start to the competition. Results for A, A2 and B Grades are now available. B2 results will not be released for Round 1 at this point due to some potential changes.

12.01.2022 Day 1 of 2017 NSW Country Championship at Niagara Park Stadium saw some great table tennis matches. Over 150 players from country clubs all around the state battling it out.

12.01.2022 So, here we are, Comp 1 2020 finally gets underway tomorrow night. The committee met last night to go through teams and these should be up on the website to view by tonight. Great to see many returning faces and very competitive divisions right across the board. And due to excellent turnout and numbers we are pleased to announce a brand new beginners program and social division to include coaching for players who want to aspire to be more competitive in time. Also, a reminde...r that Paul Pinkewich from Table Tennis World will be attending tomorrow night. He will be bringing a vast range of stock including blades, rubbers and all other accessories. Also a note for anyone who has not yet registered but will be there tomorrow night. The survey regarding intention to play in the next Competition has highlighted that the majority of members are presently uncomfortable with returning at this point in time. 09.01.2022 Postponement of Comp 1 Dear Members, It is with regret that we inform you that CCTTA Thursday night competition will be postponed until further notice (effective immediately) due to the local outbreak of the Covid-19 virus. We have been made aware of at least 2 confirmed cases in the Central Coast area in recent days and as such place the highest priority on the health and well being of our members. We would like to thank all members who have communicated with us in recent da...ys expressing their opinions as to how the CCTTA should proceed in the current circumstances. All these opinions are greatly valued and have assisted the committee in making an informed decision that is ahead of many other local sporting organisations. It is noted that in our decision making we have recognised the demographics of our members and have subsequently deemed that continuing with the current competition poses too much of a risk to many of our members given that there is now known community transmission. We ask that members please assist the committee in communicating this news with their team members to ensure that all members are aware of the developing situation. We have been in communication with Niagara Park Stadium who will continue to hold Thursday nights for us when we choose to resume our Competition. Naturally, depending on the duration of the postponement we may or may not continue with Comp 1. We will continue to communicate on this matter in due course. Additionally, at this stage a decision has been made to postpone the AGM previously diarised for the Thursday before Easter. We will advise of a new date for the AGM once the Covid-19 threat has passed. At this point in time, no decisions have been made in relation to Country Championships due to be played in May. 07.01.2022 2019 has begun and Table Tennis on the Central Coast is about to begin too. Registration and Grading for Competition 1 will be on next Thursday (10/1/19) and the following Thursday (17/1/19) from 7:30pm both nights. Competition 1 will kick off with Round 1 on Thursday 24/1/19 from 7:00pm.

06.01.2022 Hope everyone had a happy and safe Christmas and New Year period. We will be starting registrations for Competition 1 on 12/1/17. Other social venues will be starting back up next week. Bring on another year filled with exciting and fun Table Tennis!

06.01.2022 Yesterday saw the conclusion of the 2017 NSW Country Championships. Great results by Central Coast winning Division 2 and also a few Central Coast players playing for other clubs getting first and second places in their respective divisions.

06.01.2022 AGM Postponement Dear members, The results of our Special General Meeting have been tallied and our members have voted to postpone the AGM until further notice. Yesterday we received confirmation from NSW Dept of sport that deferral of presenting annual financials to the Dept of Fair Trading is acceptable at this time and therefore can legally postpone our AGM.... We will advise of a new date when table tennis resumes. We would like to wish all our members the very best at this time and a safe and happy Easter to all. CCTTA committee

04.01.2022 Competition 2 is now up to the finals. Congratulations to all the teams that made it to the finals. Please note that registration night for Competition 3 will be on 4/8/16. Make sure you enter your intent to play before that date.
