When you join an Australian Physie and Dance (APDA) Club, School or Studio, members learn 4 to 6 choreographed routines throughout the year, ea...ch with its own specific skill-set. The APDA syllabus combines elements of jazz, contemporary, lyrical and cardio. There is a focus on movement, musicality, technique, performance, flexibility and strength. Classes start for girls aged as young as 3 years and continue right through to classes suited to ladies over 70 years. There are performance opportunities throughout the year for girls and ...ladies to participate in, to enjoy the atmosphere and fun of performing in front of an audience - and be involved in some pretty cool major events too! Our APDA dancers have performed at NBL, NRL - National Rugby League and AFL games, including grand finals and opening ceremonies covered by international broadcast, festivals, parades, community fetes... just to name a few! We need someone who is adept with technology, is adaptable and can think outside the square to meet challenges while also being able to lead teams of volunteers and make sure "the show goes on".
