22.01.2022 After a VERY quiet year of weddings, we were so fortunate for our last wedding for 2020 to be this one! Killcare and MacMasters Beach are two places that we could never get over shooting. No matter how many times we shoot at Killcare and MacMasters Beach we are always in awe with the gorgeous scenery we have only minutes from home. Jemimah and Joel celebrated their special day on private property at MacMasters Beach amongst their closest friends and family. A simple, yet eleg...ant set up on the parent's property at MacMasters Beach, was the perfect location for Jemimah and Joel to exchange vows. Shortly after the ceremony, led by their church pastor, we all decided to take a drive up to Bouddi National Park Killcare. A bit of rain during the ceremony and a mainly overcast day actually worked in our favour with the soft, warm light we had consistently through the day. No harsh sunshine or speckled light, no heat wave conditions, no bad vibes.. was literally the perfect day! Thank you again for having us. Love this blog entry, you will too. See more

21.01.2022 Colours + flowers + hair + dress, perfection. (Borat voice) Berrry nice, I like!

19.01.2022 We have had the pleasure of shooting this beautiful family a few times over the years. The first time when Kayla was an only child, when Emily was pregnant with Kieran, when she was pregnant with Callum and now almost a year on with Callum almost one! Seeing this family grow over the years has been an absolute pleasure and what an honour it is for us to be chosen time and time again to document these fun moments in time.

18.01.2022 A week until Mother’s Day Contact us if you’d like to organise a gift voucher for your mum. No expiry. We also have one available spot on Mother’s Day if you’d like to book in a session

16.01.2022 New year! Time to book in those family portraits. Time spent together creates memories. Let us capture those memories for you.. https://www.coastweddingphotography.com.au/central-coast-f/

15.01.2022 Doesn’t seem very long ago when we did Kaycee and Jay’s engagement photos on the Central Coast NSW but it was more than two years ago and a year now since their Hunter Valley wedding. Their wedding was definitely one to remember with a crazy fun reception party at the Hunter Valley NSW. But before all of that, we met Kaycee and Jay on this gorgeous day and spent a lovely afternoon admiring the amazing scenery the Central Coast has to offer. If you have been thinking about getting engagement photos done, now is the perfect time . Most of us wedding photographers have a lot of spare time on our hands at the moment, with plenty on weekends free which NEVER happens for wedding photographers! Contact us for more info.

13.01.2022 Such a massive compliment when a successful and highly talented photographer asks you to shoot their family. Its been a long time coming since we have known this family since forever! Was such a lovely afternoon showing off some of the gorgeous spots on the Central Coast to these city folks. Hope you love them!

12.01.2022 The Coast team are out at the moment... we will do our very best to get back to your emails with the limited internet access. While we’re at it, we’d like to thank all our amazing couples and families for a great year. Though it was (ALOT) quieter this year we are thankful that we did still shoot and meet many amazing humans. We look forward to all the weddings that were supposed to happen this year, next year. Happy New Year!

12.01.2022 When you have the cutest nephew and the light is on point!

12.01.2022 So 2020 has been a bit of a write off with weddings. We have had the odd wedding here and there, which has been so exciting, however generally speaking it hasn't been a year of weddings... however, we are LOVING that it has given us the opportunity to do more family shoots with so many of our weekends freed up that would usually be all day wedding shoots. One of which was this gorgeous family, celebrating a special 60th birthday. There was no other location suited to this fam... more than Avoca Beach and the shot of Tony and Julianne with the SLSC in the background means so much more than a pretty picture, as this was where they met all those years ago when they were only teens. Now, with three gorgeous sons, three beautiful daughter-in-laws and 4 amazing grandchildren, it's safe to say that they have certainly been blessed in this lifetime. See more

09.01.2022 By the beach, as you do, looking good with a bit of that golden light. Models on point Perfect time of the year for some family photos before weddings start up again! Hit us up!

08.01.2022 Storytime// I thought it would be fun to share some of the stories behind the images for you here. From a wedding photographer perspective anyway. Middle left: was taken over 7 years ago on the way to beautiful Mission Beach in Far North Queensland. I remember that wedding, I missed out on the ceremony, I got stuck in an elevator. LOL Good times. The middle shot was an Eshoot we photographed many years back. Since then we were fortunate enough to photograph their wedding, ma...ternity, and numerous family photos over the years. It’s been an honor seeing so many of our couples have families of their own. There are countless stories I can share here. Too many to mention. The bottom left was a beautiful wedding we photographed in Vanuatu. Ahh, the perks! The top middle shot was memorable, not only was our couple absolutely awesome, but it was recorded as our hottest wedding photographed, literally, over 40 degrees that day. Second shooter Ryan had to sit it out for an hour in the car's aircon during the pictorial. Hectic, not a dry shirt in sight! Top right was memorable, the groomsmen spotted a boat capsize and they jumped in to help out. The story made it all over the world, google: 'groomsmen, capsized boat, palm cove.' Classic! Bottom right was one of the first big weddings we booked, this was at Hamilton Island. I was awarded silver for this shot at the photography awards with AIPP. (Side note: this shot is panoramic) An oldie but a goodie! Middle right; was a shot of Liz many years back. I remember her visiting our studio back in the day in Cairns and to her surprise, there was a massive image of her at the entrance window. The shock on her face, priceless! Top left was an epic wedding we photographed on an island that was reported to be at over $15k to stay the night. From memory, the guests were all surprised to be ferried to the island where they stayed for just under a week. Crickey! Don’t know if all this was true, but I must say it was awesome to be part of it. Such wonderful people! And last but not least, the bottom middle shot was taken on the great barrier reef, just north of Low Isles at Port Douglas. I remember riding my motorbike up from Cairns, parked it a few steps from the helicopter where we flew around for just under 2 hours taking photos of the Daintree and reef. 2 hours later I shot a 14hr wedding at Port Douglas. I felt like James bond. Photographing just under 800 weddings now (feels like a lot more), it’s been heaps fun! Looking forward to being part of so much more in the future. (hopefully soon) And a big shout out to all those in the wedding industry right now as well as all our wedding photographer friends who are toughing it out due to COVID. Big Love to each and every single one of you!

08.01.2022 Newborn photography is not something we usually get asked to do. Not because we don’t love babies but probably because when you think of newborn photography you think indoor studio with softbox lighting and adorable pink, blue and white knits. Not us though! We have no idea how to mold newborns and how to style them, but we do love natural outdoor lighting, so when Grace asked us to take some photos of her, now family of three, we were delighted. Although this Winter hasn’t been super cold so far (knock on wood) we were obviously still really mindful of the cooler temps so we kept this shoot short and sweet but still got all the baby cluckiness we needed.

08.01.2022 Magic at Bidja Estate celebrating two beautiful humans tieing the knot. Such an honour and always a privilege to capture something so special. Details down to the tee including this amazing floral arbour from Jess at Wild Romance. Boomshakalaka! Congrats Kiera and Darren!

07.01.2022 Sometimes I feel like a stalker at weddings, you know, like a sneaky ninja hiding behind the bushes. I like to think that sometimes (no ninja emoji so this will have to do!)

05.01.2022 Jessica and Mitch are all set for their October wedding taking place on the Central Coast NSW, given that there are no further changes to the COVID restrictions that we are all aware of at the moment. Jess had this gorgeous gown that differs quite a lot from the wedding dress she plans to wear on the day so instead of letting it go to waste, it was the perfect opportunity to go out someplace beautiful for an engagement shoot. Jess was quite nervous about the thought of wedding photos and we get it, it can feel awkward if you've never done it before! So not only getting gorgeous pre-wedding images but also the perfect chance to get a feel for what photography is all about so that it is one less thing to stress about on the day. Enjoy, and look out for Jessica & Mitch's actual wedding images sometime in October.

05.01.2022 Sophistication | Timeless Congrats to these two amazing humans! Always a privilege capturing precious memories. The details, that dress!!

04.01.2022 Iconic Sydney, ah we love Sydney!

03.01.2022 This shoot here are our good friends Pat and Min. Last time we shot them, Min was pregnant with their youngest Zoe. Hopefully next time we shoot them, there will be another little human to meet!!

02.01.2022 What a fun afternoon this was Arthur (pictured) and Jp had been chatting a few days before hand and planned out the afternoon. Great acting by Jp, who was pretending to be hiking and taking landscape photos, and when he saw Arthur get down on one knee he quickly went into stalker mode hiding in the bushes taking photos of the proposal! It was all worth it and of course she said YES! ... Congratulations Arthur and Lydia

01.01.2022 It's been a VERY long time since we last blogged a wedding, so we are so excited to be blogging this beauty. First time shooting at Bidja Estate Central Coast and you all know how much we absolutely LOVE shooting at new venues and especially after such a long wedding dry spell (thanks Covid)! Not only were we super spoilt to be shooting at Bidja Estate Central Coast, but we were also so happy to be back shooting weddings with such a gorgeous couple - Keira and Darren. Like many couples this year, these two had a few date changes and of course a few special people were unable to attend, however none of this dampened their spirits on their special day and these two celebrated this special day and enjoyed every single minute of it! And were just thrilled to be apart of it.

01.01.2022 Another gorgeous little family we got to shoot from our little road trip down to Wollongong not too long ago. Just before the storm rolled in...
