21.01.2022 The CKFL has been advised to postpone our competition until further notice. This is to ensure that we do all we can to keep people healthy and safe. Football is such a positive activity that supports communities physical activity, mental health, and brings family and people together. During this time, until we know more, please look after each other, check in with each other, and be safe. ... The CKFL board will communicate more information once we know more.

18.01.2022 MENS ROUND 4 SCORES & LADDER Apologies for the late release, CKFL had to check with the WACFL and others about player clearances and registrations and also confirmed the fixtures for this weekend. The Dockers played an unregistered player on Saturday and thus had their scores for the game taken off them. [See results]... The Mowanjum vs Blues game on Thursday will be played at Mowanjum oval [Derby oval is unavailable Friday due to the Mardi Gras]. It will start at 3.00pm not 1.00pm as first listed.

10.01.2022 Another message for you Kimberley mob, kindly written by the Aboriginal Interpreting WA, Dee and her team. This is a message from the Police boss and government... about a rule for people from remote communities to help keep that overseas sickness corona virus (or COVID 19) away from you and keep you all safe. This is proper serious business. Aboriginal and Torres strait islanders are all at high risk of catching Corona, especially old people and people who already have other sickness or trouble with breathing. Anyone who isnt in quarantine, is in town and lives in community, they need to go home to community urgently and keep safe there. Police will work with others to help you get back to community. Its their job to help you right now so go see them in the town you are in or ring them up to help you get (back country or ) home to community. Government doesnt know how long this is for, might be for long time through this year. Police are asking communities to prepare for family coming home to make sure everyone is safe from this overseas virus that can spread and hurt people very quickly. It can kill people. Get organised to get back to community right now. Government and police wanna make sure you mob are safe. Go home, stay home, stay safe. Police Boss Greg
