09.01.2022 Every year across Australia, around 110 people die from domestic and family violence (DFV). Australia's CEO Challenge aims to bring domestic and family violence... out of the darkness and into the daylight through the Darkness to Daylight Challenge. The challenge is a symbolic 110km run or walk with each kilometre symbolising a life lost to DFV on average in Australia. QFES is committed to tackling DFV and we want to make sure personnel, volunteers or their family members experiencing, or who are at risk of using abuse or violence, continue to have access to the support they need to change their outcomes. Please contact Mensline (1300 78 99 78) or Womensline (1800 811 811) if you are experiencing DVF and require access to 24/7 support, referrals or counselling services. Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if you are in a life-threatening situation. If you would like to register to raise awareness or donate to this cause, please visit https://www.darknesstodaylight.org/abo/darkness-to-daylight
