17.01.2022 Calving season has begun - let's all slow down for those below ~~~~~~~~~ Big Welcome to our newest resident Mandurah Dolphin We saw mum Hatrick still pregnan...t on monday making her newborn here less than a few days old at the most These photos were taken with a large zoom lens and cropped in closer so you can clearly see the deep foetal folds which are formed from being folded up inside mum. They will gradually fade to lighter stripes then disappear after several months. Any calf with these lines is *very* young and must be given plenty of space please while it bonds with mum and learns. 06.01.2022 The Mandurah Rotary Duck Race will take place on the Eastern Mandurah Foreshore Saturday 20 April (10am to 4pm)! The Family Fun Day starts at 10.00am and during the day there will be free activities for children and family that include kids rides, kids versus parents tug of war, sack races, face painting, specialty food vendor stalls and exclusive local art & craft works and much much more. Come along and support a great cause!
