20.01.2022 It's Dental Health Week. The Australian Dental Associations key messages; Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste. Clean between your teeth daily using floss or interdental brushes. Eat a healthy, balanced diet and limit sugar intake. Visit the dentist regularly for check-ups and preventive care.
18.01.2022 It's men's health week 15th-21st of June. Periodontal health for men is extremely important as it may impact a variety of other health factors. Interesting to note, men suffer from periodontitis much more frequently than women but are less likely to present for timely treatment.

18.01.2022 Who’s onboard for a plastic free July? While it is tricky to be plastic free with oral hygiene (those interdental brushes!), good oral health and reducing the need for further treatments will reduce our overall future plastic waste. Why not review all your plastic use as well? https://www.plasticfreejuly.org//what-you-can/dental-care/

07.01.2022 Are you feeling a bit helpless about Covid-19? Maybe focus on controlling the bacteria in your mouth. Recent research from the UK found people with a greater bacterial load in their body had more complications in the lungs after being infected with the corona virus. The bacteria in the mouth can contribute to this bacterial load, especially the bacteria species that cause periodontal disease. https://www-news--medical-net.cdn.ampproject.org//Oral-hyg
