21.01.2022 Tomorrow for BIG-WIGs we are going on a Great Macadamia Hunt. Please bring a hat, water bottle and your sense of adventure! We will be walking through areas that are weedy/overgrown and heavily mulched with leaf litter, so please wear appropriate footwear/clothes. Following this we will be sharing our monthly Grubs Up in the Garden... Please bring a plate to share :) We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

15.01.2022 Pretty but nasty... Today a large African Tulip tree next to CGS gardens was removed. African tulip trees are notorious for poisoning native bees with their toxic pollen. Thank you to Peter from Gecko Tree Lopping for doing such a great job

WILVOs (Wildlife Volunteers Association Inc.) is a dedicated group of people who devote their time and effort in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of precious Australian native wildlife. WILVOs is centred on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. WILVOs carers are available to the community 24/7 and for the entire 365 days of the year via the hotline to provide assistance to native wildlife utilising a network of local vets including the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital and other carer groups.
