21.01.2022 SOCIAL ENTERPRISE IN GIPPSLAND One of the best things to happen this year (admittedly in an ordinary kind of year) is the creation of the @Gippsland Social Enterprise Collective. If YOU are interested in the business possibilities, and social GOOD that we think social enterprise can offer us all - please stay tuned.... Over the next year or two - we hope all of Gippsland will get to know much more about what it means. How to BE a social enterprise, and as a network, collaborating to grow the sector. Six Local Leads were appointed across regional Victoria by SENVIC to activate this program. GSEC is the Local Lead for Gippsland. Here at GSEC we decided to share the Gippsland job between six of us. (Someone in each Local Government Area - so thats : Bass Coast, Baw Baw, Latrobe, South Gippsland, Wellington and East Gippsland.) Wed love you to LIKE this page. Read on. And SHARE it to like-minded entrepreneurs thinking about doing good business, with purpose. We think well all learn a lot. (And well get together as soon as we can.)

14.01.2022 Stories of influence creates a space for unknown connections to occur. This year we linked with Cal Flyn from her home on Orkney island, author of Thicker than water about her ancestor Angus Mc Millan. The next night Todd Cook wound up his performance with an acoustic rendition of The Butchers ride ( Angus McMillan through Gippsland) and then there were family connections and it was a time to listen. Thank you for taking time to create these stories and for the sharing they bring to light so much that has been hidden
