24.01.2022 BACK UP CHARLIE IS A FLEXIBLE SHEEP MOVEMENT SYSTEM. It consists of a forcing yard leading into a dual lane race for movement into sheep handlers, crutching plants, scanning machines and a lot of other applications requiring a constant flow of sheep. The forcing race can be in a straight line or turn 180 degrees to a bugle formation & anywhere in between. Come and chat to Charlie at our Open Day. 11th September 2020 from 9.30am. Register here if you are going to come - https://centreplus.com.au/open-day-registration

18.01.2022 The weather has turned this afternoon and its cold and wet. Mark has packed it in early and reckons he's ready for a hot shower, than the pub. So we are going to finish up this week with a video of some of this seasons lambs. All of them playing are eight days old and having a great time, just before hitting the yards for pedigree recording earlier this week.

05.01.2022 This morning I was checking Mark’s Twitter so I know what’s going on in the world. Best not to ask too many questions or make direct eye contact that early in the morning while harvesting. But I just couldn’t help asking What’s Spitfire? Sam (11) pipes up Don’t you know anything mum that’s the type of plane they flew in World War 2! Somehow I don’t think Sam or I scored any points for our farm knowledge with Mark as he sat at the kitchen table with his cuppa, rolling his eyes and laughing at us. #harvestwidowhumour2020

05.01.2022 Saturday afternoon a fortnight ago the weather was beautiful (not so nice since than ). We had lambs to pedigree, so nearly everyone was drafted to help out. Sam was made head lamb picker upper and things flowed very smoothly.

01.01.2022 Charlie’s been playing in the newly dug barley pit. It will be interesting to see how it goes. We are guessing it holds somewhere around 180 tons.

01.01.2022 So what do you feed a sheep farmer when he’s harvesting? Lamb of course! Lunch box ready and waiting. ... Corn, capsicum and lamb fritters, BBQ lamb pizza and Roast lamb and vegetable pies. Plus we had a baked dinner and lamb salad sandwiches. All from one roast leg of lamb, the options are endless.
