23.01.2022 Working hard to get into a position to score off every ball vs spin

23.01.2022 It’s the perfect time to develop your skills going into next season

19.01.2022 Using a resistance band to give feedback about back leg positioning while playing on the front foot. Here we are trying to avoid sinking into our back leg to ensure our weight and head is moving at the ball.

19.01.2022 Creating a strong base with our front foot defence - practicing getting on the front foot and playing the ball as late as possible and with soft hands

18.01.2022 Using objects such as plastic cones to act as a patch of rough on a turf pitch is a great way to practice playing spin bowling on a deteriorating wicket. Ryan and Blake do a great job here at playing as normal as possible and trying to block out the distraction of the cones. They are still looking to find the right ball to score off.

16.01.2022 Working on being as positive as possible and looking to score off every ball while maintaining good shot selection

16.01.2022 Working to get in good positions to defend and score off short pitched bowling. Always good to keep challenging yourself with this sort of stuff Joined by some friends in the background at the end

13.01.2022 Some cover drives to start off your Monday

13.01.2022 Develop your game alongside your mates! We offer sessions for groups as small as 2 people all the way through to full teams

13.01.2022 Working on getting our pre-movement in before the release of the ball. This way we ensure that our head is still and we are set and ready to move again.

08.01.2022 Some more one day focused batting - looking to keep it simple

08.01.2022 Continuing on with our theme of picking out the right ball to hit for six - here is Eli with some clean striking! Here he is ensuring that he remains technically correct and sharp when the ball isn’t quite in his zone.

07.01.2022 What are you willing to do to make 2020 your best cricket season yet? The pre season is the best time to put yourself ahead of the pack!

06.01.2022 NEW COACH!! We have a new coach joining the team to meet the increased number of registrations over the past few weeks! James is a member of the Blacktown Mounties 1st Grade team in NSW Premier Cricket. He’s a wicket keeper/batsman coming off the back of a great season and is keen to get stuck into some coaching this offseason!

06.01.2022 Starting your session off against a sidearm or fast bowling is a great way of replicating walking out to the crease and starting your innings in a game. Here is a clip of Eli’s first few balls of a session against a sidearm. The focus was to be sharp and practice good shot selection. He does a great job of presenting a full bat face and looking to hit straight back down the ground!

05.01.2022 Great shapes Using underarm drills is a great way to work on technique and positions while playing off the front foot.

04.01.2022 Using no feet while hitting underarms might look strange and feel uncomfortable but it’s a great drill to force yourself to hit the ball late and under your eyes - most times, the batter will end up making better contact than usual while doing this drill

02.01.2022 Practicing getting in position to play the short ball and occasionally throwing in a fuller ball to make sure we’re staying sharp and in good positions

02.01.2022 Home of Centurion Cricket @ Joe Mac Oval

01.01.2022 Practicing getting as tall as possible against the short ball and playing with soft hands to drop the ball at our feet and look for a single
