25.01.2022 This Saturday we were finally able to hold our finals series for the Centurions Flag Football Competition, and the weather couldn't have been nicer! . At the end of three fantastic games on the day, Kiss My End Zone took out the title after a ferocious game against QDS Warriors . Check out our Facebook for photos of all 3 games!... . With such a good turnout for the Flag Season, we're looking forward to our 3rd Season, kicking off next year. Plenty of time to get a team together . We've now got less than a week before the ACT Gridiron season kicks off for 2020. With two trainings remaining, there's never been a better time to get behind the Centurions! . 20.01.2022 Like our receivers into the end zone, The Cents are taking a walk! We're joining in the MS Australia Walk Run + Roll to make a difference in the lives of Australians living with multiple sclerosis and have challenged ourselves to complete the kilometres and to raise funds to fight MS! Multiple sclerosis affects more young people than any other chronic neurological condition and the average age of diagnosis is 30. It can strike anyone at any time and the symptoms vary so widel...y. Imagine waking up one day unable to do the everyday things you would usually take for granted. Some of the symptoms of MS are a sudden onset of blurred vision or loss of vision, being unable to get out of bed, difficulty walking, pain and fatigue. All of a sudden your world has changed. On March 28th we'll have a group of Centurions joining in the MS Walk/Run/Roll here in Canberra but we'd love to also raise money for a great cause. With your generous support, the funds raised will allow people living with multiple sclerosis to access vital MS Support Services, such as MS Peer Support, or the MS Employment Support program keeping Australians living with multiple sclerosis in the workforce. 15.01.2022 Today the Centurions regrettably announce that we have lost one of our greatest and most memorable alumni in Kris Cannon, #42. . Kris, 37 passed away yesterday and was inspirational in building the Centurions to what it is today. . Our condolences go out to his family and friends at this time. ... . Kris was an original in the 'Band of Brothers' and all of us are grieving today. . We would like to advise that the ACT Gridiron League will be holding a minute of silence at our next game on 10/10/2020 and a collection will be taken up at the game for his family. . 04.01.2022 Another great day out at the baseball for the Centurions. We were happy when the Lifeline Canberra Cavalry won and sad when they lost. . We got to catch up with old friends and meet new ones! . In between games at today's double header against Melbourne Aces our guys got the opportunity to throw the ball around in the outfield with Chavez Young from the Cavalry and Toronto Blue Jays . ... .
