24.01.2022 Was so excited to have the Coach on the road again after 9 months hybernation. We took Gooloogong Public School to the Western Plains Zoo on Friday and the kids had a WOW of a day despite the almost 40deg day, but they slept well on the way home. Glad you all had a great day. We also had St Joseph's Catholic School at the YMCA Camp Yarramundi for an overnight team building exercise last week, was a very enjoyable experience. Then to top the weekend off we had our very firs...t successful Ben Hall 4WD tag along tour yesterday with a fantastic group from Sydney, they were very impressed with Anita's cooking and commented on how much there is to see in the region when travelling with a local. 22.01.2022 Hunter Valley Gardens have their annual Christmas Light display from 5th November 2020 to the 26th January 2021, with over 3 million lights, this is a must see. 16.01.2022 Feeling very excited at the moment, our Coach is at Tandy Diesel Repairs getting a full service and a BLUE SLIP for registration after sitting for the last 8 months. We have received enough bookings over the last month to warrant a quarterly registration with the option of a full registration after that. 14.01.2022 Hey, guess what?? It's only 48 day's until Christmas and Cenwestours Forbes will be doing their very popular Christmas Light Tours from Sunday 20th through to Thursday 24th. This is the only time of year where we are happy to hand the bus over to Santa and let him collect on behalf of Can Assist Forbes, were everything donated stays locally to assist cancer patients and their families. Let's all get behind Santa & his helper and hopefully we can run both our minibuses. Cenwestours Forbes, we really do go the extra mile.

13.01.2022 Cenwestours Forbes are proud supporters of our local Can Assist Branch, Can Assist helps local Cancer Patients with financial support for medication, accommodation, travel expenses and much more. Again in 2020 we conducted our Christmas Light Tours for the 5th year running and was amazed by the local support, over the week leading up to Christmas we ran both Minibuses and raised a staggering $1468.80, in 2019 we raised $1695.40, 2018 was $1072, 2017 was $620 & 2016 was $200 ...giving us a 5 year total of $5056.20. This is an amazing effort and wouldn't have been possible without the many, many displays that so many of our residents put hours and hours into creating and of course the many people who jumped on board the tours and gave so generously. Happy New Year to all our Travellers as well as those who have not experienced our hospitality, we hope to see you all soon in a much brighter 2021. 07.01.2022 Five years in business, how fast has that gone. Yes it has been five years since leaving my former career path of 31 years and diving head first into a totally unknown world. The statistics told us at the start that 50% of start up businesses failed in their first five years and here we are still going that extra mile. We also knew in our hearts that if we were going to make this work that we needed to provide a service that was unparalleled to any other and for us there wa...s no question, it had to work as there was far too much at stake. We never in our wildest dreams thought that we would have received the support from our community that we have. The last 6 months has provided us with a speed hump and like so many businesses throughout our region, we too have used this time as an opportunity to reinvent the wheel so to speak, rethink how we can continue to remain viable and it is remarkable how we have all stepped up to the challenge. 06.01.2022 Had the Diggers Swimmers on board today with their annual trip over to Grenfell for a quick 50m, 30m and a 10 man relay, unfortunately my time didn't qualify me to make the relay, but it was a fun day. Then we helped Dominique Nixon celebrate her birthday in style cruising in the Limousine visiting the big Goanna for some night photos. What a great way to celebrate your special day. This week we had the pleasure of taking almost 200 people on our Light Tours around Forbes and raised a staggering $1468.80 for our Forbes Branch of Can Assist. We are so proud to be a part of such a giving community, everyone gave more than was asked, so thank you to everyone who donated and a very special thank you to everyone who lit up their homes and put up with the increased traffic past their homes, a huge effort was made this year, it took an extra half an hour to get around all the beautiful displays so congratulations to everyone.
