14.01.2022 Hello dearly missed students of CM! It feels as though the long & damp lockdown is coming to a close and there is a feeling of optimism in the air, finally! We have some good news to share, we have just landed a temporary workspace at @neonparlour in Thornbury, Melbourne. This means we are steps closer to resuming our ceramics classes..... As specifiedin the Roadmap to reopening; we in theCreative Industriesare not yet permitted to holdclasses until we reach the 'Last Step' in the Covid 19 roadmap for reopening. We will reach this next threshold once the whole state of Victoria has had zero cases for 14 consecutive days. We are already on day 8 of zero new cases and things are lookinggood.. Opening date, hours & times TBA! Hold tight Melbz!

05.01.2022 What a year it has been.. With life beginning to return to what we know and love, and the future looking bright for us fortunate to live here in Oz some things are forever changed. While in lockdown we moved from the warehouse to the property of our dreams, a log cabin home and bush block in Heathcote Regional Vic. To top this invigorating tree change we are over the moon to be welcoming our first child into the world this January! I plan to be kept busy by this little de...ar and will be taking maternity leave from mid-December, so as you can imagine CM will be going into hibernation for some time. On the other side of this monumental transition into parenthood CM will also be morphing into its next incarnation CERAMICA BOTANICA, the bush edition! Now, I don't want to give too much away but what you can expect is immersive all day ceramics workshops surrounded by the natural beauty of the Victorian countryside. Local wine and produce as part and parcel of your pottery experience under the trees, to the sweet sounds of whistling birds and the chance to practice art and connect to your creativity in the bush 100kms from Melbourne. This will be a stark difference to those who've experienced the warehouse's creative buzz but it will be BEAUTIFUL. I hope you keep in touch and stay tuned for more info about what's to come. In the meantime we have a temporary pop up studio @neonparlour in Thornbury where current students are given the opportunity to complete their ceramic courses in full. Past students who are yet to collect their handmade goods have this short time to pick them up. Casual classes, Ceramics courses, Kiln firing and Clay-Recycling services are all on hold until further notice.
