06.01.2022 I think it was 1975 when the fruits of the opening up of diplomacy with China by the Whitlam government resulted in a group of Chinese craftsmen, yes they were all men then, came to ESTC and I saw a demonstration of the Yixing teapots being made. I was astounded, both by the technique and the beauty of the objects. I never tire of seeing it happen. Such mastery of the Art of Pottery. please enjoy this video!
