09.01.2022 My beautiful soulsister and Maori Goddess from across the Tasman, Ngahuia Hona-Paku - Miss Rotorua Contestant 2020 , is in the running for People’s Choice in Miss Rotorua! She is the stunner in the red dress (3rd pic) - go and give her a vote! We met at Woodford this past New Year’s and I’ve loved following along on her adventures ever since. This woman is a proud keeper of her culture, always happy to share it with others and was so generous to connect me with Maori sister...s here in Australia who performed the most epic women’s haka for one of my wedding ceremonies. She is such an amazing role model for young indigenous girls around the world - showing them that it is possible to be a powerful, multifaceted woman - gorgeous, strong, focussed on wellbeing, honouring culture, kind, connected to ancestors, funny and warm - all at the same time!
