23.01.2022 Wedding/all you can eat pizza party! . So when we got married we wanted to make it all as fun, relaxed and as informal as possible. Just a big ol festival of love. . So when we found the legends at @peacepizzasw and saw the photos of their ADORABLE retro portable pizza oven we were sold!... . Who doesnt love pizza? Who doesnt love the novelty of eating pizza on a farm and who doesnt love awesome blokes making and serving that pizza? . One of the best decisions we ever made. They even let us get in on the pizza making action and as you can see from the second photo I was STOKED about it! . If you are looking for something a little bit different for your reception, HIGHLY recommend pizza from Peace Pizza! . When the travel ban is lifted you best believe we are swinging by Dunsborough to pick up a pizza (or 3) . 18.01.2022 MOMENT MAKER . This legend right here @ricky_green_music was my big day ninja partner in crime and I could never thank him enough for helping me surprise my hubby with my entrance song. . See my love and I did first look photos which means we saw each other before the ceremony (which I HIGHLY recommend btw!) so I wanted to organise a little somethin somethin to give John a serious case of the feels when I arrived given hed already seen me in my dress before that moment.... . Being the biggest Liverpool FC fan going around, I asked Ricky if he could learn Youll Never Walk Alone and boy oh boy did he deliver! 14.01.2022 Helloooo there lovers . It has been a minute since I said hey and introduced myself so here are a few little tidbits about yours truly. . I am obsessed with Hamilton the musical and will tell anyone who will listen how incredible it is. ... . I am a bit of a gamer (video games are my jam). . On weekdays you will find me in my full time job as an Executive Assistant and will find me marrying all the lovers on weekends. . I am one of two kids and my brother is a rockstar (literally). He was always the cool one and I was always the nerd... still the case. . I was a formally trained Trombonist for many years before I realised it wasn’t very sexy and took up the guitar and piano instead. . Dinosaurs and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were my first loves. I always wanted to be Michelangelo but I was kidding myself and was totally a Donatello. . I was terrified of Mr Whippy vans as a child... I think it was the Greensleeves music box music. Still makes me wince. . When I was 21, I graduated from Uni on a Monday and moved to London on the Friday and lived there for 3.5 years, travelling all over the place while working at the Australian Embassy. . I went to a Buckingham Palace garden party and stood about 1m away from Queen Elizabeth. The chocolate cake was ! . I am crazy about podcasts and listen to SO many. Hit me up for recommendations! . I sneeze like a mouse and blow my nose like an elephant (much to my loved ones’ amusement!) . I have never seen an Indiana Jones movie and this seems to surprise people. . 09.01.2022 Doggos in wedding ceremonies? Thats a big YES from me! . Do they behave themselves 100% of the time? Nope! . Do they always sit quietly and not roll around on their back and make happy doggo noises? No sir-e.... . Do they make everyone smile, relax and enjoy the heck out of the moment? You betcha! . They will not always be a good doggo, but if they are your doggo and you love them, then involving your little one in the ceremony is always a good idea! . This is our little ratbag Rosie who tried to lead fellow bridesmaid away from the aisle, cried when I arrived as she was not getting attention and then rolled around on the grass for most of the ceremony making that happy doggo noise. And did we love it? You know we did! We all had a good giggle, she brought everyone out in a serious case of the smiles and it meant so much to us to have her there. . Had way too much fun getting on board the @thecelebrantsociety Friday night frock up to bring a little glam to our otherwise socially isolated Good Fridays.... . Premise - put on a formal frock and go about your business as usual. . 04.01.2022 This is John. . John is my fianc and soon to be hubby in less than three weeks. . John is very tall. (6ft7 which is 200cm)... Before you ask no he doesnt play Basketball. . John and I are heading to Japan for our honeymoon on the 27th and for a man who barely fits into anything here, its going to be a struggle for him spending three weeks in a country famous for keeping things quite compact. . One of the main things I always say to my couples is to make sure you do whatever it is on your big day that is going to make you feel AMAZING and enjoy the heck out of every minute of it. Regardless of what anyone else might think or say, its your day so you do it your way! . So in the interest of practicing what I preach, here are a few photos of me bouncing on a trampoline before my wedding ceremony, in my wedding dress.... . It was so FUN! I couldnt stop smiling and while my poor hairdresser @hairbymadi_ is probably shaking her head right now (soz!), this pre ceremony bounce just reminded me that this was my day and I wanted to laugh and have this big dopey grin on my face for as much of the day as possible. . We tied the knot in Witchcliffe surrounded by our loved ones on the farm of two of our gorgeous lifelong family friends and it could not have been more perfect.... . 01.01.2022 @daisycloverfilms has uploaded a couple of sneak peek clips from our big day and ohhhh boy I am in LOVE!!! . Head on over to her insta to have a squizz and while you are at it, check out all the wedding video goodness!! I could watch all that magic for hours. . Dani is not only so ridiculously talented and amazing at what she does, but you couldnt hope to work with a more gorgeous person inside and out. Her energy is just divine and you cant help but enjoy the heck out ...of your big day when shes around. Smiles for miles! . We had originally decided we would have a friend film our ceremony only but when I went along to #ceremonyfeels (run by the legendary @kissmeyoufool_dilhari and @kirkgoodsellcelebrant) and saw Dani do her thing I just knew we had to have her on board! . If you are umming and ahhhing about whether to get a videographer I HIGHLY recommend you give it some serious thought as I dont regret our decision for a second.
