24.01.2022 When the automatic sprinklers accidentally turn on after a wedding ceremony on a 47 degree day! Thanks for the photo @darrenseiler #milduracelebrants #milduracelebrant #malleewedding #malleeweddings #mildurawedding #milduraweddings #ceremoniesbypam #hotweddings #malleecelebrant #malleecelebrants

24.01.2022 It’s completely coincidental that my husband’s name is John ...

23.01.2022 Love meeting new couples to do their legal paperwork (the Notice of Intended Marriage) ... and today I caught up with the gorgeous Annie and Adrian. We were chatting away about wedding stuff (as you do) and I was running through some of the things they will need to think about for the ceremony. I mentioned a ring bearer, and Annie said ‘oh, we are having Jimmy ... he is our dog - we adopted him from SARG’. ... Funny thing is .... Jimmy was Hercules - and John and I fostered him for SARG at the farm! He was one of our foster furs (and we very nearly kept him!) So I am now very excited about also catching up with the ring bearer in September! Ps - here are Annie and Adrian ... signing the NOIM while sipping the same bubbly they had for the proposal. Romantic!!

23.01.2022 Simple place settings.

22.01.2022 Nooooooo! Weddings need hugs! The elbow tap just doesn’t have the same feel to it.

22.01.2022 Great idea! In these germy times, instead of a grazing table have individual servings of cheese, cold meats, nuts, biscuits, fruits etc. Love the sticker holding the cone together.

21.01.2022 I mentioned my dad a couple of weeks ago. It’s his 90th birthday today, and sadly we can’t see him or celebrate as a family together. So I wanted to share this photo of him looking at my mum at her 21st birthday, not long before they got engaged. ... And he still looks at her like that, after over 65 years together. Happy birthday, dad. We love you.

21.01.2022 The struggle is real!

21.01.2022 A proposal at a wedding. Good idea to share the love? Or bad idea to steal the attention?

20.01.2022 You really need a sense of humour when planning a wedding at the moment. This would be a quirky ‘Save the Date (Again)’ notification. (And I think I spy peonies).

20.01.2022 Doing my thing on the Day of Love! Perfect day for a Mallee (NSW) wedding - congratulations Matt and Casey! #ceremoniesbypam ... #mildurawedding #milduraweddings #milduracelebrants #milduracelebrant #malleewedding #covidwedding #rightsideoftheriver See more

19.01.2022 I must thank my observant niece, Masina Nelson, for spotting these visual treasures. Not sure where to start ... maybe with the wedding party in the bath?!?

19.01.2022 Starting wedding planning? Here’s an excellent hint!

19.01.2022 Love the coloured smoke! (And both the dresses ....)

19.01.2022 Weddings! Here’s a very excited Mallee celebrant lurking in the scrub at @golgolpub on a very warm 35 degree day. Congrats Rebecca and Michael! #ceremoniesbypam #milduraweddings #mildurawedding #malleecelebrant #malleecelebrants #milduracelebrants #milduracelebrant

17.01.2022 ‘Make your own mini pav’ ... Delicious dessert for a wedding reception! (Once COVID has left the building)

17.01.2022 Yes ... it’s true.

17.01.2022 Couples planning weddings during 2020... Your job interview questions now have the BEST answers ever! Talk about transferable skills!

17.01.2022 EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! Reckon I’ve seen this film 30 times and it gets me every viewing! TISSUES! ... Ps - it’s nearly time for my annual viewing. You have all been warned. xx

16.01.2022 LOVED Adriana’s choice of footwear yesterday! It suited her, matched her bouquet, was comfortable, practical, and very cute!

16.01.2022 Speaking of proposals .... here’s an unusual one. Yes, it is a permanent tattoo. On the right buttock. ... Cl..assy!

15.01.2022 LOVE this wedding dress!

15.01.2022 I shouldn’t laugh ......

15.01.2022 VICTORIA Wedding updates As of midnight tonight. ... If the wedding is held at home or a residential property (whether inside or outside) a maximum of 30 guests can attend in addition to the people who usually reside at that address. If at a venue - depends on space available and if they use electronic QR registration. No maximum number of attendees. Ask your venue!

14.01.2022 I received a call on my way up the Calder Highway yesterday from the fabulous Leah at Willow and Ivie saying ‘ummmm - can you do tomorrow’s wedding tonight?’ A few short hours later, a beautiful Cindy was walking up the aisle with her dad to her lovely bloke, Brad. And after a very non-rehearsed ceremony, they partied the night away (well ... till lockdown kicked in at midnight). ... Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Jinnette (2 of my favourite weirdos!) and a great job from all the suppliers and the Willow and Ivie team who performed miracles to get these two married in the limited time available before lockdown. Looking forward to seeing some photos from Alistair from Vision House who stepped in literally at the last minute when their booked photographers were unable to get to Mildura. There are some heart broken couples this weekend in Victoria who may have already had several date changes (as did Cindy and Brad) and I can only send you my thoughts and love, and every wish that you also have your day very soon and it’s everything for you. XX

13.01.2022 A Tuesday giggle (it IS Tuesday, isn’t it? I’ve lost track ...)

12.01.2022 Getting married? VERY IMPORTANT! ‘Marriage will revoke a Will previously made’ .... so check with your solicitor if you need a new Will, or if your current Will was made ‘in contemplation of the marriage’. ... You don’t have a Will? PLEASE get one!

12.01.2022 Erna’s service yesterday .... celebrating a wonderful life. (With the obligatory Mallee wind and flies!) Beautiful job, Barry Gregg. xx

12.01.2022 Latest announcement regarding weddings .... from midnight tonight in Victoria we are up to 150!! This increased number is ONLY at non residential/commercial venues such as Willow and Ivie, The Grand Hotel, the DVine Shed etc (not farms, houses, private properties, home gardens or blocks) Weddings held on private property such as farms, house gardens etc are limited to ‘private gathering’ numbers of up to 15 people. ... Weddings held in a public garden or by the river appear to come under the ‘public gatherings’ rule of up to 50 people. Masks not required outside if socially distancing, but ARE required to be worn inside. More info will follow in the next days.

11.01.2022 Beautiful words for vows (especially if you are having a hand fasting as part of your ceremony). And if you want to see gorgeous wedding venues in Scotland, hop onto Lindy’s page. She also streams weddings live on some occasions. ...

11.01.2022 Another ‘unusual’ wedding photo. Whatever rocks your boat, I suppose!

10.01.2022 It was my mother-in-law’s funeral this morning. She was 98 years old, loved Minties and crumpets (well, any food ...), lived on farms most of her life, saw every BABBA concert in Mildura, could cook up a storm for the family and shearers, and planted beautiful kurrajong trees along the border of the house block at Walpeup. We sent her off to ABBA’s ‘Dancing Queen’. ... Thanks to everyone who came to farewell Erna. A video of her service and photo presentation will be on line tonight ... xx

10.01.2022 Correct! Excellent advice from a husband ....

10.01.2022 Please ... I’m 24!’ This made me laugh

10.01.2022 Apparently this is legit. Apologies I don’t have their contact details! Happy V Day everyone ... (I’m off to Gol Gol to hitch a gorgeous couple!)

10.01.2022 O. M. G. So..... if you gift something under $250 you get KFC or fish and chips? I’m hoping this is ‘fake news’. ... I’d personally be RSVPing that I was unavailable that particular day!

10.01.2022 WEDDING PACKAGES 2020 + 2021 Get married from $1,450 Photos, celebrant, hair, makeup, decorations, music ... and more. ... Easy!

09.01.2022 The ‘Dancing Queen’ left us today. Erna Mead - lover of food, farm and family (and my mother-in-law) ... reunited with her soulmate, Bob. Vale and farewell. ... Private funeral.

09.01.2022 Something a little different. Bouquets made from old books ......

08.01.2022 Hashtags for weddings are becoming more common. Speaking of common ... perhaps they should have thought more about this one?!?

07.01.2022 Check out the grin on this one's face! All dressed up (sort of) and looking gorgeous.

07.01.2022 Yes ... you can get married for as little as $1,450 (including celebrant, photographer, hair, makeup, decorations, music and more). Seriously.

06.01.2022 Goodbye 2020. Can’t say I’m going to miss you! Here’s to a wonderful, safe, happy, healthy, successful, wedding-filled 2021. ... Enjoy x

06.01.2022 Nine kids! Seriously! Michael and Rebecca are getting hitched tomorrow ... here’s the ‘everyone be serious’ photo at the rehearsal, followed by the ‘ok - go crazy!’ photo. Gotta love boys. ... See you all tomorrow!

05.01.2022 PHOTO MOSAIC. Great idea to display all those photo memories from your wedding or special event! Family business based on the Gold Coast .... very reasonable cost.

04.01.2022 Maybe good for casual wedding shoes? Or perhaps to change into at your reception? Also children’s sizes for your flower people. ... (I’m loving the red ones - think they are calling to me).

03.01.2022 It’s been a year of Plan B. And C. And in Danni and Jake’s case ... think we got up to about Plan K! ... They had several ideas for their wedding including a fabulous ceremony and reception at the family farm (and even a Drive In wedding, which I actually called the Attorney General’s Department and COVID Hotline about!) - but due to restrictions they decided to have a simple ceremony on the river. Until it rained. And rained. So a couple of hours before their wedding, everything had to be moved to Red Cliffs. And these two were still smiling. There were no fancy decorations as planned. No river view. Not all guests could get there. But there was lots of love. And now they are Mr and Mrs Forrester. xxxxxxxxx

03.01.2022 I have a little side gig I do with a fabulous team of local wedding pros called ‘Marry in Mildura’. And for the second year in a row, we received this award. Happy Dance! ... Ps: congrats Shape and Willow & Ivie. Always a pleasure doing business with you!

02.01.2022 With help from James at Ali Cupper MPs office, this information has been obtained from the Office of the Premier. The exact words from the OOTP are as follows; ‘The increased capacity for weddings would not apply to weddings held in a private home (even on a farm), this is due to venues providing a more regulated space and are easier to have oversight on’. ... There may be a further announcement on Sunday, but at this stage ‘private gathering’ numbers limit weddings at farms, properties, blocks and private gardens in Vic to 10 guests (even if they are 15,000 acres). Ps - please don’t shoot the messenger... I’ve declared how I feel about this ridiculous regulation to Ali’s office. Feel free to do the same! DATE SHOULD BE 22/11/20- apologies.
