25.01.2022 Gamilaraay mob and Bruce Pascoe have been sharing knowledge with researchers, and recently completed a study on native grasses as a possible replacement for wheat. Apparently some of the native grass flour tastes like grass but mixed with native quandong, can taste like apple pie! It’s exciting to see projects such as this that weave cultural and western scientific knowledges together with economic approaches and earth care, where everyone can benefit including the natural world.

22.01.2022 In a time of profound separation, we are so pleased to be partnering with Nature's Apprentice in 2021, to offer this 10 month program designed around re-connection: to each other and to the natural world. Beginning and ending with nature immersion retreats outside Melbourne, as well as a mid-way winter residential, the program will cover six core modules that seek to explore both the philosophy and practice of nature-based leadership: *Tending the Wild... *Deep Nature Connection *Village Building *The Wider Story *Leadership, Authenticity and Purpose *Spirituality & Sacred Activism Each module will involve a set of recommended texts and readings, experiential processes and exploration of a broader context that embeds it into work for the world. The modules will be woven together into the retreats, and studied in more detail during the twice monthly workshops and webinars. This is a unique opportunity to connect deeply with nature, and discover how together we can use our unique gifts to be of service to other and the world at this time of great change.

The Fig Tree Replanted is a reinterpretation of The Fig Tree, one of The Boite’s most successful artistic productions in its 40-year history.
