23.01.2022 The night packers! We worked late last night packing your orders. Thanks to all of those who are using our online store. We have adjusted it a little so now you can pick out individual summer seedlings and enjoy browsing our great range. 21.01.2022 Was lovely to greet this lovely customer today and be reminded that despite the challenges of lockdown, the wildlife are not in lockdown! The birds are busily preparing for spring, nesting, foraging, raising young and singing. Nature is bursting to go with buds swelling, blossoms blossoming and leaves unfurling. The Spring winds feel like they are pushing winter along to its next destination and the urge to garden feels primal.

13.01.2022 Just because you’re not showering, doesn’t mean your plants shouldn’t. Popping them in the shower is a great way to clean any dusty leaves and give them a good deep water. While you’re at it grab the scissors and snip off any dead or damaged leaves at the base. Have a look at the plant to pot ratio and take a note of any that will need potting up a size in early Spring... 10.01.2022 Dear Sweet peas, Oh how we miss having you in the store! We miss hearing about your gardens and discussing all things gardening. We hope your gardens are continuing to inspire and nurture you as we face these challenges. We feel happy knowing our work is supporting people having their hands in the soil, therapeutic for so many people, especially during this time. While we feel so grateful to be able to continue to come to work, the seasons of Covid have been long and challeng...ing in the nursery and we have certainly learnt some new tricks along the way! Launching an online store and delivery service perhaps the trickiest of the tricks we learnt! It’s a whole new world! It's been difficult to adjust the level of service we can provide to keep the ship afloat and sometimes limit what we can offer. As such, we have decided to end our delivery service so we can focus more fully on a higher volume of click and collect customers. 06.01.2022 Hello friends. We are pleased to announce that the physical Nursery store will REOPEN this FRIDAY 30th OCTOBER. We will be open from 10am 4pm, 7 days a week, heading back to 9am - 5pm as soon as we have all our COVIDsafe systems running smoothly. Customers will need to wear a fitted mask, follow hygiene procedures, and there will be limits on numbers of people allowed in the store. We are so looking forward to having you back, and appreciate your patience, kindness and respect for the systems and procedures that keep us all safe. Our online store is currently paused while we fulfil final orders and prepare for the reopening. See you soon!

05.01.2022 We're feeling very much like busy bees here at CERES Nursery! Thankyou for your ongoing support. We are pleased to announce we now have a second phone line (AND Madonna headset!) and can take telephone orders between 10-4pm, 7 days. We also have the amazing 'Chop' from Fairfood helping us with deliveries on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
