25.01.2022 After a lot of trial & error I’ve finally made a setting that I’m very proud of & use in 90% of my mixes. With this setting, a touch of EQ & a LA-2A I’m left with a killer tone that my clients are always happy with.

21.01.2022 I’m fortunate enough to be doing sound for the @massacreofinnocence all ages show at the band booth in Dandenong this Saturday. Everyone should come down and enjoy this killer line up and support all the bands especially my good mates in @chasingthevoidau Doors open at 12:45pm first band on at 1pm, $10 at the door.

17.01.2022 One of my favourite compressors at the moment is the CLA-76. Really like using the bluey on drums as i find it adds a bit more punch and crunchiness.

14.01.2022 I’ve seen a lot of people using the new Neural DSP plug in, so I thought I should try it out. I was really impressed with how it sounded and how easy it was to get the tone I was looking for on my bass tracks, I highly recommended you try this plug in out

09.01.2022 little insight of how I like to mix heavy vocals. First I like to add a bit of DC Distortion then I use the Scheps omni channel for the bulk of my processing, I use a touch of the deEsser if needed followed by a LA-2A in limit mode doing about 3-4dB of gain reduction then I’ll add a couple of sends using Rverb and H delay to finish off my vocal mix.
