24.01.2022 PLAYGROUP @ MILLFIELD BUILDING MUSCLES AND COORDINATION The inclusion of the large stepping stones added a challenge for the older children at Playgroup as they balanced across the pathway. Using textas and thick paint brushes for art, provided practice for developing pencil grips and exploring children’s creativity. The monster story book entertained as the children identified and labelled their facial features. Lots of singing and action rhymes followed, with cheeky monkeys and sleeping bunnies as favourites. We ventured outside for ball games and a bear hunt to finish the morning. Cessnock Multipurpose Children’s Centre has been Educating and Caring for Children since 1963
