24.01.2022 FAKE BANK NOTE WARNING Newcastle City Police District have issued a warning after a number of Newcastle businesses identified fake/counterfeit bank notes, mai...nly $50 in value. The below image is from the reserve bank on how to identify a fake note. Offenders will make a small purchase and receive change. Generally at a time when the business is busy or distracted by the offenders. Newcastle City are investigating a number of these incidents. Report any instances to Police immediately.

"Alignments between these two planets are rather rare, occurring once every 20 years or so, but this conjunction is exceptionally rare because of how close the planets will appear to be to one another," said Patrick Hartigan, an astronomer at Rice University.
