25.01.2022 To protect our seasonal roads a number of roads in state forests, national and state parks have been closed. Generally the closures are in place until the end o...f October, but they can be extended due to seasonal conditions. Seasonal road closures are put in place when tracks/roads become susceptible to damage and degradation during the wetter months as the rain softens the tracks. If you’re planning on going to your favourite park or camping spot, please do the right thing, respect the bush, and plan ahead by visiting - www.ffm.vic.gov.au/visiting-state-/forest-and-road-closures Parks Victoria Towong Shire Council Indigo Shire Council Alpine Shire Council Wodonga Council Rural City of Wangaratta Benalla Rural City Council Mansfield Shire Council Greater Shepparton City Council Mitchell Shire Council Moira Shire Council Murrindindi Shire Council Strathbogie Shire Council Four Wheel Drive Victoria Camping Victoria Game Management Authority Victoria Victorian High Country Huts Association Victorian High Country Bushwalking Victoria

20.01.2022 Another throwback memory. Back in 2007 - while this wasn’t a weekend away it was an excellent driver training day where members went through a number learning experiences and practiced some skills. An important thing within our club is making sure that partners are also given opportunity to learn to drive so that in the event that the normal driver may get injured at least the partner can drive to seek help. If your interested in joining our club don’t hesitate to contact us or go to our website for more information. www.cfa4wd.org

19.01.2022 We are interested to hear what is the preferred brand and type of tyre people put on their forby's and what have been your experiences?

19.01.2022 Hello Folks, Under the current public health orders, we cannot hold meetings together in person. However, we don't need to let these physical distancing requirements stop us catching up with each other online. Accordingly, as tonight would have been a club meeting night, we will be holding our meeting using Zoom instead.... If you are interested in joining the club and would like to attend the meeting please let us know and we can send you the details. Kind regards, Peter Hugo CFA 4WD Club

15.01.2022 Given that we are all suffering from camping and 4WDing withdrawl syndrome, we thought we would post up some photos from some previous trips we have done. Here’s some pics from a trip we did back in 2010 to the Anne Beadell Hwy. Maybe one day we can get back there. Enjoy

09.01.2022 We are sharing this as a stark reminder about some of the dangers associated with not properly extinguishing your camp fires or just covering them with dirt without using water. This could be a child close to you!

01.01.2022 Club meeting (usually the 3rd Thursday every month) have been suspended until further notice due to the COVID 19 crisis.

01.01.2022 Today our hearts go out to the family and friends of these two young adventurers. Tragically found dead in their 4WD after coming to grief on a track. We can only highlight the dangers of four wheel driving and stress that you should never go 4WDing with just one car and never alone.
