17.01.2022 As well as preparing for the 2020 State Champs and the upcoming fire season, Mooroopna CFA has been doing a great job encouraging new members. Ben Richards, like many CFA members, joined Mooroopna Fire Station in the hopes of building relationships and learning new skills. The 28 year old also has Down syndrome. In August, Ben was voted in unanimously as a member of Mooroopna He walks into the room and it lights up. Everyone is a bit closer and happier when he’s around. Steven Johnson, Captain.

08.01.2022 Important message from CEO / Chief Officer Steve Warrington: Hi everyone, The Federal Government has this afternoon advised against mass gatherings of 500 people or more from Monday.... Based on this advice, we have made the decision to postpone the 2020 Mooroopna State Championships. We have not made the decision lightly but we feel this is necessary in light of this latest government advice and to minimise the risk to our people and the community. I know this will be disappointing to many people who have worked hard to prepare for this event. For full message see http://createsend.com/t/r-7908BFF48031650B2540EF23F30FEDED
