Leaving early means leaving the area before a fire starts - not when you can see flames or smell smoke. Your trigger to leave is what prompts you to act. You should use the Fire Danger Rating to determine your trigger. 14.01.2022 Are you a Crew Leader, Strike Team Leader, Sector Commander or Divisional Commander in District 14? Due to COVID restrictions, District Commanders are holding the Seasonal Focus Briefings for the 2020/21 fire season via the Online Learning Hub virtual platform using MS Teams. The briefings will be capped at 30 members per session. The briefings are for those members who perform the roles of either Crew Leader, Strike Team Leader, Sector Commander or Divisional Commander. ... Eligible members please register via the Learning Hub from Monday 5th October 2020 under the Catalogue Tab then select Forums and Briefings. The course name will be District Pre Season Briefing 2020/2021. A range of dates will be available throughout November. Contact your Catchment Team for further information.
