While we think it's an absolute travesty he didn't get selected in the final 22 - we're overwhelmingly proud of Weiters for the season he's had. Congratulations also to Sam Walsh on being named the 2020 AFL Coaches Association Young Player of the year!... To celebrate, this week we’re raffling off both a signed Jacob Weitering and a signed Sam Walsh guernsey! 21.01.2022 Cheersquad members Shannon and Nic will be joining the Carlton Live team starting tomorrow night for their very own video podcast series titled "The Heatley End". Inspired by the iconic stand at Princes Park where Carlton's Cheersquad called home for over 100 years, their show will be a totally interactive viewer-led discussion with plenty of iconic Carlton stories and plenty of discussion about Carlton's AFLW and AFL Men's teams. 04.01.2022 Massive shout out to our friends from Carlton Supporters Group - QLD & WA Blues for all their hard work & passion this season. While those of us in Victoria haven't been able to make it to games, these two incredible supporter groups have yet again raised the bar. They've brought noise, they've brought enthusiasm and they've supported our boys like never before!... Carlton has seen a 22.97% increase in membership numbers in QLD this year while we've seen a 18.19% increase in membership numbers in WA - largely thanks to the amazing organisational skills of these passionate volunteer-led supporter groups. There's a healthy rivalry between these two groups trying to be Carlton's biggest and best "interstate" supporter group and while we're shattered we didn't get to any games ourselves in 2020 - we're happy for the non Victorian members and supporters who usually only get to see Carlton play 1 time per year (if they're lucky!) Getting to see so many games in their home state this year. The Baggers Army get stronger each year. Consider this a challenge to ALL Supporter groups including TAS, SA, and NSW to go bigger and better yet again in 2021 - we know we're aiming to bring more noise, colour and passion than ever before when we can get to games in Victoria again. Go Blues!
