16.01.2022 Ghd's are a great conditioning tool we use in the gym. Here we are using the equipment for extra range of motion and abdominal targeting in place of a situp as a more advanced movement. We also use abmats to perform butterfly situps instead of a convential situp which also will target your abdominals more and provide lumbar support. Both options are shown in this video. ... 04.01.2022 It’s a big year for CrossFit Grunt! This year we are extremely excited to bring you Saturday morning Yoga with Namasté Nellie starting on the 23rd of January. Namasté Nellie offers both group and private yoga classes, practicing Vinyasa yoga which is a steady flowing style of yoga. Namasté Nellie also specialises in Pre and Post-natal Yoga, as well as restorative and slow flow Yoga. These Yoga classes will also be open to non-CrossFit Grunt members. Please contact Namast...é Nellie for enquiries. Bookings will be essential. We believe Yoga is an important practice, for the mind and body. Although widely different, Yoga can complement our CrossFit training.
03.01.2022 Last night I had the absolute privilege of training 3 generations of Turners! Oma Ute is keeping very fit for her age (79) and didnt mind dropping in for a 20min AMRAP . The workout was adapted to suit her and to focus on basic functional movements with quality control. . She finished the wod alongside everyone else mostly a fraction of her age with a and at the end.... . It was a delight to have her pop in and a fantastic reminder of what is important in life. She left the next class when she told them her age! .
