15.01.2022 YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM is your first line of defence yet there is so little publicly spoken about how you keep it strong in these trying times. This blog is an excellent summary of things you can do at home to help keep yourself strong- and it doesn't need to cost you anything!

15.01.2022 I can highly recommend Smiling Mind, an awesome App which I have been using for some months now to practice mindfulness meditation. It has been developed by Australian universities and is completely free to access. They have just released a new initiative called Thrive Inside to help with keeping calm and healthy in this new COVID-19 world. Check it out!

05.01.2022 Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, I regret that as of today, this practice is closed until further notice. Please take care of yourself and your loved ones in these difficult times. For current updates about COVID-19, go to: https://www.health.nsw.gov.au//dise/Pages/coronavirus.aspx... If you wish to find out more about the concept of "social distancing", including what it means in practice (eg- on public transport, at gyms etc), I recommend this report by ABC's Dr Norman Swan: https://www.abc.net.au//health-report-with-norman/12058602. COVID - 19 LOCAL SUPPORT for people living in the Lane Cove area: Sydney Community Services (9427 6425) is a central source for anyone in Lane Cove or Hunters Hill who either need to self-isolate or choose to not go outside as they worry they are at risk of the Corona Virus. If you are a neighbour of someone who may be at risk please check they are ok and let Sydney Community Services know if they need to be on the vulnerable list. They are putting together a database of people who are in isolation but they also need volunteers who are able to help others who need emergency supplies, or even just give social contact, through a phone link. From Monday at 8.30 am they will have a line to take any referrals by phone on 9427 6425. In the meantime email [email protected] with your details.

05.01.2022 In these challenging times, nothing is more important than supporting the most vulnerable amongst us.
