19.01.2022 Its 'business as usual' at White Gum Aviation over this coming weekend. We're all geared up with proper sanitisation and each person will have their own foam microphone cover. It will take a little more time to sanitise the Foxbat after each use but hey....it's such a good opportunity for those in the wheatbelt region to make use of the aeroplane while others are unfortunately, stuck across the 'regional divide'. Feel free to call/email/message if you need advice on flying training. A big thank you to all our medics across WA also....

10.01.2022 Thanks Mirek for again giving me the exhilaration of being in your Dragonfly, doing your BFR last weekend at YWGM. Now this is flying :-)

10.01.2022 RE: COVID-19 EFFECT ON FLYING OPERATIONS The Government restrictions on travel within Regions has now created a problem for our operation. I have been on the phone to Govt departments all morning clarifying what this means for us: We now have a Regional Boundary between Perth (Perth/Peel Region) area and White Gum area (Wheatbelt Region); with travel restricted between the two.... I personally am able to travel from Perth to White Gum because I am attending a place of employment; so the flying school can still operate. Flying students however, from the advice I received this morning, cannot cross the Regional Boundary line. Students already residing in the Wheatbelt Region can still travel within this region to White Gum. If any of you are in this position, and want to do some training, Please contact me. We still, of course, need to adhere to the evolving Government rules about social distancing and the like. And yes, we can still do dual training - with the reduced social distancing the same as all the other flying training schools; we just need to exercise a higher standard of hygiene, which we have in place. We will keep you updated as the situation develops, especially if the Regional restrictions relax enough for us to resume training for our Perth people.
