23.01.2022 Yesterday saw the Gold Coast council and Community open our recently completed bridge in the best way the Gold Coast knows - with a Party! The bridge incorporated 17m spans and is a fantastic asset to the community, made from corrosion free composites! Wagners CFT - Building the Future, Rehabilitating the Past!

22.01.2022 Not long now, who’s excited?!

20.01.2022 Another successful installation on Mt Coot-Tha! The discovery trail bridge was installed on Friday with our expert Wagners Transport driver Ian at the helm. Ian has delivered our structures from Cooktown to Geelong! It was in safe hands on Friday in Brisbane as this 22m span truss was delivered to its final location!

19.01.2022 Not long until we ring the bell!!!

18.01.2022 Another successful CFT structure installed! Our Project Manager Lachlan has recently been to site to watch the installation of Larssons Road bridge, an 11m long 6m wide road bridge for Kyogle Council. This bridge provides much easier access to surrounding farmland for locals.

15.01.2022 Earlier this year Wagners completed supply of the "Chesterhope Bridge" clip-on cycleway for Hastings Council in New Zealand. Cycling Infrastructure in New Zealand is experiencing unprecedented levels of investment. Strategies that utilise and upgrade the functional capability of existing infrastructure are proving feasible through the consideration of innovative materials, and construction techniques. 15.01.2022 Road users will have access to safer and more reliable local travel as aging timber bridges are upgraded as part of Kempsey Shire Council’s $2.2 million Bridge Replacement Program being carried out this financial year. Council’s bridge team recently completed works to replace one of 94 timber bridges in the region - Whalens Bridge at Austral Eden Inner Road. Prefabricated in Queensland before being delivered in one piece, it is the first road bridge to be installed in the shi...re made of composite fibre. Council’s Manager of Engineering Works, Tony Green, said the Bridge Replacement Program is part of an ongoing commitment to improving the valley’s road and bridge network. Composite fibre is the same material used at the Point Briner walkway and Crescent Head and Oil Terminal footbridges. While it is similar in weight to timber, it doesn’t corrode, burn or rot, so it has a much longer lifespan, he said. See more

02.01.2022 Check out the 'Coogee Stairs' - a stairway for the City of Cockburn (Perth). The stairs are adjacent to a pristine Scuba diving location, the Omeo wreck, and are a part of the 'Coogee Maritime Trail'. The Coogee Maritime Trail is a unique dive and snorkel site suitable for divers of all ages and levels of experience. It creates habitat for marine species, informs the community of the significance of our marine environment and highlights our shipwreck heritage. The underwate...r trail features an artificial reef and WA’s first underwater artwork project. The Stairs provide safe access for divers and snorkelers using the trail. School groups from as far away as Kalamunda are using the dive trail for educational purposes. Without stairs, divers carrying heavy scuba tanks and others including school children carrying snorkel gear were clambering over the breakwater rather than walking along the beach from the northern end of Coogee Beach, posing a potential safety risk. This project was won and installed by our Intrepid WA Sales Agent Amphibia Engineering - well done Jason!

01.01.2022 Recently @KempseyShireCouncil completed construction of the "Oil Terminal" Footbridge at South West Rocks, NSW. Wagners supplied a design and all the materials for the project, and Council performed the install. Check out the photos - they did a fantastic job! Take note of how close to the existing vegetation the boardwalk is and the minimal impact the construction has had on this pristine wetland. Great Job Guys! Here is an article from Kempsey Shires website with more info and some construction pics.. https://www.kempsey.nsw.gov.au/media-rel//mr20170602a.html
