25.01.2022 What a glorious day for our first session! The water was beautiful - we're so lucky to have a fantastic swimming pool facility. The children were brilliant - we love sharing our tips on water safety with parents and why we teach certain things to the kids. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and fingers crossed for more nice weather!

22.01.2022 Things have been a bit quiet here as other work, family & volunteer commitments battle for equality!! For those who have been asking, we will be running infant and pre-school programs again this summer at the Queenstown Pool however it will be different that previous years due to other commitments. Program 1 - Sunday 7 January through to Thursday 11 January from 11am. $40 per child, payment due by 31 December... Program 2 - Monday 29 January through to Friday 2 February from 11am. $40 per swimmer, or $30 if child completed Program 1. Payment due by 22 January Enrolment forms will be available within the next week. Programs are for children aged 6 months to 4 years. We understand this change to our program schedule may be difficult for some however at this stage this is the only way we can offer a program.

21.01.2022 Enrolment forms for 2018 programs! Children are able to participate in both programs if able to. Groups and lesson times will be confirmed once all registrations are received.

19.01.2022 We've checked the forecast and the consistent rain isn't due to ease until later this afternoon - our little swimmers will lose their body temp too quickly in this weather therefore we'll cancel today's lessons. We trust you understand we want the children to have fun, positive experiences in the water :)

19.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has enrolled for our program starting this Sunday! Parents will be receiving a message from Christine soon confirming lesson times. A reminder that children who wear nappies out of the water need to wear aqua nappies in the pool. Aqua nappies are available for individual purchase from the pool office. Lessons are also weather dependent - young children lose body heat quickly and we want them to enjoy their first swimming experiences, not associate swimming with being freezing!
