10.01.2022 This project was a stamped concrete driveway that had previously been coated with a concrete sealer. The surface was degreased and pressure cleaned then allowed... to dry. Then once dry, the surface was scrubbed with Nutech Reactivating Solvent and allowed to dry once more for an additional 48 hours. The Reactivating Solvent softens the existing sealer and helps subsequent coats bond together. Just prior to painting using PaveCoat Beige, a garden blower was used to remove any loose leaves and debris fromt the surface. The first 2 coats of PaveCoat paint were applied using a soft bristle household broom. The broom is used to scrub over the surface and spread the sealer throughout the grooves. The broom also helps the existing and new coats to bond as the sealer is basically brushed onto the surface. Finaly, a coat of sealer was applied using a roller and a broom, this left a smooth finish and the broom was used to stop product pooling in the grooves.
