17.01.2022 I Feel Like Writing kicked off at the Chaffey Theatre this week. Six Riverland writers aged 16-26 will be spending the next few weeks exploring creative non-fiction with local facilitators/writers Stuart Watkinson and Kirste Vandergiessen and guest facilitator/writer Roz Bellamy zooming in from Melbourne. This week the writers watched Anne Frank: Parallel Stories at the Chaffey Theatre on Sunday before taking over the Green Room on Monday for their first workshop. During the workshop, everyone shared a little of their writing aspirations, background and started brainstorming ideas for the piece of writing they would like to develop during I Feel Like Writing.

01.01.2022 This week participants of I Feel Like Writing at the Chaffey Theatre (before lockdown) talked about writing routines, the things that get in the way and then dove into some writing. Facilitators Stuart and Kirste asked everyone to think about where and when they best write. Are you a morning writer or a night writer? Does music help? Do you prefer somewhere quiet or busy? So what about you Riverland, where and when do you write?
