03.01.2022 On Sunday morning the second Chain Lynx group ride went ahead with an early ride to Clovelly beach. Despite the unpredictable on/off heavy rains and bright sun, the group was all smiles and support. Happily stopping when needing to take rain gear on or off. The group was a great mix of different experience levels and bike types including road bikes, gravel bikes, commuters and touring set ups. The ride is always 'no drop ride' so the group stayed together and no one got left ...behind on the steep hills of the eastern beaches. Looking ahead, the plan is to switch up the ride leaders every month so there is variety in the types of rides as well making space for new leadership and responsibility sharing. Road riding twin sisters, Alex and Kate offered to lead next month to help work on speed at Olympic Park! Keep your eyes peeled if you're interested.
