22.01.2022 Last night we had our first Christmas workshop. We taught how to stencil doormats and cushion covers and how to decoupage beautiful coasters. It was so much fun. 21.01.2022 I feel like Mrs Claus today. Just wrapping a customer order in our beautiful Australian gum leaves Christmas papers. We have free gift wrapping on purchases for the whole of December. We also stock stunning double sided Christmas paper from Bespoke Letterpress ($6.95/sheet) if you want to wrap your own gifts. And how cute are these green mercury glass turtle doves as gift tags. Only 50c each while stocks last. Ho ho ho x

13.01.2022 When you ring your hubby at work to say "don't be alarmed but where's the crowbar". Hallway reno here we come... Mum and Dad arrived yesterday and are here for 3 weeks. Lots happening, will share photos x have a great week

10.01.2022 Had a fabulous workshop this morning. Jann brought this beautiful antique console table which she has painted in Dixie Belle's SILK in Nautical and Endless Shore. Workshops are such a great way to learn prep and painting skills. This piece needed to be scrubbed with mineral spirits and washed 3 times before painting as there was a lot of wax build up. If this hadn't been done, the paint would not have adhered properly. When this happens the paint is often blamed, where as it's usually the wrong prep.

06.01.2022 Happy hump day! We’ve got our last Christmas doormat and cushion workshop tonight. Next weekend we’ll be running a wreath making workshop (date to be listed towards the weekend). Dixie Belle have just launched another fab product called Gemstone Mousse. I’m really looking forward to trying it, and I’ve enjoyed seeing photos starting to show on social media of people having a play with it. Which would be your favourite colour, and what would you put it on? x Available in store $30 (on the website tomorrow).
