05.01.2022 Chalkers and the new COVID-19 regulations: whats going on?! Weve had dozens of messages and calls asking whats happening so here are your answers! Are you open still? ... Yes! 11.30am til late every day, and later on weekends Do I have to book a table? Unfortunately we arent able to take bookings at the moment WITH the exception of the full size snooker table - give us a call for that one. Youve got a pretty good chance of getting a table unless youre coming in after 8pm or so on a Friday or Saturday night - well be busy so first in best dressed to get on the waiting list! Can I play pool and have a drink at the same time? Yes BUT you must be seated and you cannot consume your bevvie at the bar! You must get your drink, take it to your table and plant your booty on a couch or chair before you start enjoying it. Our staff will be super vigilant about this! Can I challenge others to a game while Im at Chalkers? We strongly encourage people to stay within the groups they came to Chalkers in to minimise issues with physical distancing. Our tables and couches are spaced so if people stay near their own table, physical distancing is easy! Are your tables sanitised? Absolutely - the pool tables, the triangle, the cues, the balls, the jigger and the spider are all sanitised between every group using the table. Common touch points are sanitised regularly too, the safety of our team and customers comes first and we want you to feel safe in our venue. And of course, we ask that you dont visit Chalkers if youre feeling unwell or have been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Chalkers will be ready and waiting when youre feeling better and we look forward to having you back
