12.01.2022 Do you know of the requirements regarding first aid and CPR training? In Australia, all First Aid Certificates should be refreshed every 3 years. This is to ensure your knowledge stays up-to-date and current. What about my CPR certificate?... Because the process for Providing CPR requires the use of specific equipment like a defibrillator, and because it is a skill that is not regularly practiced, the Australian Resuscitation Council recommends the CPR qualification (HLTAID001) be renewed every year. Keeping your knowledge fresh and your First Aid and CPR skills sharp can undoubtedly save lives. It is important you keep your competency current, as First Aid procedures and methods do change.
