11.01.2022 Had a brilliant paddle with whales this morning, cow and calf humpback whales did a spectacular breach twenty metres from us then came over to check us out magnificent mammals up close

09.01.2022 The calf came up to say hello, mum swam between us, not a lot of room to move, sometimes

08.01.2022 Last two for the year, having a break, at home , feel like leaving phone in the bin as well. Have a great Xmas everyone

07.01.2022 Just another morning paddle at Wategos Beach. Grumpy ocean but that's what the Challenge Breeze likes. Very stable in most conditions. Experience and knowledge of the ocean John has. Come and tries at Brunswick Heads where you can experience either the Challenge Sequel or Breeze and get tips on how to paddle and exit and re entry into the kayak. See you soon.

06.01.2022 Market day!! (Byron Bay Markets today.)

06.01.2022 Good morning from Byron bay

04.01.2022 A post put up yesterday by Janette Ebbers, who paddles a Challenge kayak: "One heck of a magnificent weekend we had. Treated to a spectacular sunrise paddle on the Noosa River and off the headlands. We had a surprise visit with a humpback calf and its mother. We drifted along allowing them to investigate us whilst they surfaced, circled and dived beneath us. They are truly gentle giants and much more nimble in the water than many would believe."

02.01.2022 One hour with great company

02.01.2022 Two breeze by challenge, off to NZ today!!
