For all quo...tes, we are asking you to take the measurements (see the pic below for info) - this saves us a contact visit to your home or business, keeping you and our staff safer. Once youre happy with the quote we can come out to site to measure up and discuss fabrics - maintaining social distancing efforts of course! 23.01.2022 Firstly, thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their homes over the past 5 years!! I have loved working with each and every one of you! Some of you may know that I LOVE anything windows... Last year I went into business with some pretty awesome people and started up Apiary Blinds. We are super busy with lots of exciting residential and commercial projects and it means that I just don't have the time to take on design projects anymore. I am still doing colour consulting work, and obviously anything blinds/curtains/internal and external shutters I would love to help you with, through Apiary! Yep, pretty big decision but sometimes you have to follow your heart and having an awesome team around me,and following my love of windows is where it's at!!! Thank you again!! Claire xx

Artwork was the last thing to put the icing on the cake, and now everything is installed I reckon youll agree it looks stunning! This waterfront home definitely got the make-over it deserved. Fresh paint, new lighting, carpet and rugs, furniture, artwork, shutters and curtains... Its almost hard to believe its the same place I visited last year! Secretly Im still a little green with envy about mooring your boat outside your window...We can only dream...

15.01.2022 For Mums stressing about keeping their kids educated during this period with kids not attending schools... A letter from a school principal and teacher - worthy of a read! Dear parents with school aged children... You might be inclined to create a minute by minute schedule for your kids. You have high hopes of hours of learning, including online activities, science experiments, and book reports. Youll limit technology until everything is done! But heres the thing... Our kids are just as scared as we are right now. Our kids not only can hear everything that is going on around them, but they feel our constant tension and anxiety. They have never experienced anything like this before. Although the idea of being off of school for weeks sounds awesome, they are probably picturing a fun time like summer break, not the reality of being trapped at home and not seeing their friends. Over the coming weeks, you will see an increase in behavior issues with your kids. Whether its anxiety, or anger, or protest that they cant do things normally - it will happen. Youll see more meltdowns, tantrums, and oppositional behavior in the coming weeks. This is normal and expected under these circumstances. What kids need right now is to feel comforted and loved. To feel like its all going to be ok. And that might mean that you tear up your perfect schedule and love on your kids a bit more. Play outside and go on walks. Bake cookies and paint pictures. Play board games and watch movies. Do a science experiment together or find virtual field trips of the zoo. Start a book and read together as a family. Snuggle under warm blankets and do nothing. Dont worry about them regressing in school. Every single kid is in this boat and they all will be ok. When we are back in the classroom, we will all course correct and meet them where they are. Teachers are experts at this! Dont pick fights with your kids because they dont want to do math. Dont scream at your kids for not following the schedule. Dont mandate 2 hours of learning time if they are resisting it. If I can leave you with one thing, its this: at the end of all of this, your kids mental health will be more important than their academic skills. And how they felt during this time will stay with them long after the memory of what they did during those weeks is long gone. So keep that in mind, every single day...

This Bribie home was in great condition but needed a fresh coat of paint, updated colours, new light fittings, window furnishings and then some gorgeous new plantation style furniture... 08.01.2022 Body corporate colour schemes are always tricky because so many people are involved, and inevitably they all have differing opinions! Overlays are a great way to visualise what the end result will look like... I usually present between 2 and 3 overlays for the painter to show their clients, to help with the final decision. I also offer this as an additional service to residential clients too so if youre struggling to visualise your home with its new colour scheme, let me know!

07.01.2022 Lining everything up.... Hands up who else is a little OCD? You know what, this is one trait you absolutely need in your designer!! The tradies I work with know only too well that if something isnt centred or straight, hawk-eye here will pick it up! It also means that before you see the first draft of a design, I have gone over and over and over it! Its that attention to detail that makes all the difference.... Now to convince my husband that this trait isnt just annoying and that its useful too @trishandersonphotographyau body wash and soap @aequoraskincare

We both left our corporate jobs a few years ago to pursue our dream of running our own businesses and be around more for our kids. Shes absolutely found her niche. She made me feel at ease, able to be my slightly nutty self, and managed to capture me loving my job too. So good
