20.01.2022 Did you know some hairstyles can damage your hair ? I understand, the bun is a fan favourite and even I’m guilty of the ease of just getting it all out of the way. Especially in the current climate conditions! But elastic hair ties can grip hair too tightly and cut into the hair shaft, causing fraying when they are repeatedly used in the same spot buddabing buddoboom breakage ! So like everything, in moderation it’s a ok for a sneaky bun but everyday it becomes a prob...lem and it’s an even bigger problem when you sleep in it. Do you have a halo of breakage and just don’t know why ? Here’s your answer! But your not totally out of luck if you are obsessed with the bun! Try switching to a fabric covered and very fashionable scrunchy for the same secure feel, hair out of face bun .(or ponytail) That’s a little more gentle on your gorgeous locks! But try very hard not to sleep with your hair tied up tightly. #ilovemyjob #scrunchy #darwinhairdresser
