Thought I would venture out in the sunshine for my yoga practice & look who tried to join me on the matt ... next door's chook, after a fly over the fence! 22.01.2022 Willow came back for her 3rd session today. She was such a pleasure to photograph... just super happy! I will put together a framing when Mum & Dad decide on a choice from her Newborn, 6mth, & 1 yr sessions. We had a common denominator of a red rose, basket & dress throughout all 3 sessions. 21.01.2022 Interesting read & words of wisdom at this challenging time Thinking of all the changes, delays, postponements of peoples' plans (Wedding couples especially) soon to be the loss of jobs, etc, etc ... life goes on and we can ride this storm & come out strong on the other side I hope! We will certainly learn so many new lessons ... Lets try to be kind & caring to ourselves 1st, so that we can give to our families & others the same kindness. Trying to be patient, considerate ...& calm. Meditation would greatly help.... there are so many good apps / podcasts out there to make use of. I can still be available for photography if needed... will keep a good distance and use my telephoto lens more than usual (outdoor sessions will be the way to go). 19.01.2022 Recently visited Kangaroo Island again for a few wonderful days with friends. The eastern / north eastern side is looking as great as ever, especially after having some good rains...lots of great places & businesses to visit. We went for a drive to Parnadana and grateful to see the town still standing & functioning - beautiful spirited people! The surrounds however a different story, but inspiring seeing the green growth coming through <3 The later shots were taken at Vivonne Bay were the fires came right up to the coast front leaving only one shack standing which was being demolished. Still such a fantastic destination to go to & I would recommend a short holiday across to those never been before ~ Karen

18.01.2022 I am happy to say that I am open again for business & it was a privilege & exciting to be able to take Ella's newborn session today! I am having a less 'hands on approach' currently & involving a bit more assistance from parents for the posing. How adorable is Ella? ... such a chilled little one @ nearly 3 weeks old.

18.01.2022 I love this beautiful place & very lucky to call it home... just a 5 minute walk away. I'm also very grateful that we are getting back to a new kind of 'normal' here in South Australia and heading in the right direction. This shot was taken using available natural light from a window in my studio.
