24.01.2022 Oh hey 2021. Didn’t want to be overshadowed by 2020 I see. I woke up SO EXCITED! Today was the day! After months of harassment I had finally convinced @thehairdressermama to sign up to a @rawbybek 7 Day Free Trial - mah bestie was finally going to be working out with me! (I know, seems weird to be excited about that but hey, it’s who I am now ). And then we got the news about 8am that brisbane was entering a full lockdown for 3 days... with the possibility of extension. ... To be honest I think Queensland has been pretty removed from the drama, our restrictions have been less than other states, our numbers much lower. To be honest I don’t even own a mask, I’ve had to order some online now that they’re mandatory! I’m grateful that our government is proactive to stopping the spread, I’m less grateful for the crazy panic buying (but I get it, #triggered) and I’ll crossing fingers we get on top of this ASAP. So stay home, stay safe, and stay positive peeps. We have this. PS. 24.01.2022 I’m feeling a girls trip in my bones. The wifey @thehairdressermama is almost done with her uni course, and I’m so bl**dy proud of her. Running her own business, Steven has his own business, two small kids... and on top of that a full time university course so she can follow her dream of becoming a midwife. This calls for champagne, charcuterie and a picturesque room where we don’t have to make our own beds. Don’t you think?... Do you prefer a hotel or @airbnb?

19.01.2022 And it’s not even Wednesday. Today we took Bambino to the audiologist to have his ears checked. We’ve noticed for awhile that some of his sounds are off and although it could definitely just be an age thing, we wanted to be proactive and cover all bases. We had to wait until he turned 3, and finally today was the day. Except it wasn’t. Because he got really shy and wouldn’t participate in the activities He wouldn’t even be bribed with his precious choc balls!!! So now we have to wait for a referral and appointment at the Children’s Hospital so their audiologists can try with him. I really shouldn’t be surprised though should I, he’s so stubborn How was your day?

14.01.2022 How did everyone survive day 1 of the school holidays? I took the boys out for to them water for a big walk, swim and hot chips with their cousins. Bambino rewarded my efforts with falling asleep for 15 minutes in the car and then not transferring or napping again Thank goodness for @everyplate.au because honestly I have no brain cells left to think about dinner Why did I decide to give up wine during the week this challenge ?!??

I had to try for my learners permit a few times but got my license on the first try. 2. My first job was a telemarketer for a Glamour Photography company in Woolloongabba. I worked nights and would walk from Beauty School to the office to pay for my Diploma. ... 3. I’m an only child and always dreamed of having a large family so that my kids would never feel alone and always have someone to play with. Which do you think is the lie?

05.01.2022 I had such a giggle reading everyone’s guesses last night... especially the reasoning! So here is the answers to 2 lies 1 truth... did you get it right? 1. TRUE! My friends took me to get my 18+ Card so I could clubbing because I didn’t even have a learners I was petrified of the thought of driving (you may have picked up on the fact I’m a bit of a control freak and very risk adverse ha ha) so put it off! It wasn’t until I met Pete and we were living together that I decided... I needed to learn (to get away from him maybe ) 2. TRUE! Again I was really scared of the thought of getting a job when I was in highschool, so I waited until I HAD to so I could pay for my Diploma in Beauty Therapy. I don’t know HOW I ended up with a telemarketer job but magically I was really good at it and sold a lot of glamour packages to farmers and people in remote communities I may have even befriended a Jackaroo who drove hours to Brisbane to take me out on a date 3. FALSE! I have siblings. I DID want a large family though, until I ACTUALLY had kids I have awful pregnancies and then we had our secondary infertility so we’re SUPER lucky to even have 2! And we’re VERY VERY done

As Bébé put it it looks like we won the lottery and bought a new house From a room I hated spending time in because it was dark and not inviting at all, the living room is now my favourite room in the house! ...
