25.01.2022 Two Sunshine Coast Lightning stars, Laura Langman and Laura Scherian, delivered a session to a selection of CSC girls from years 7, 8 and 9 as part of their ‘Co...nfident Girls’ Program. They taught the students the competitive and skill-building game of Spike Ball while speaking to them about believing in themselves and embracing their uniqueness. The students had a wonderful experience and were each presented with a box of positive affirmation cards written by the Lightning players. The school with also gifted a signed netball which will definitely hold pride of place in a trophy cabinet. While all of the girls were winners, the team that took out the competition consisted of Katelyn , Laycee i and Toni , all from 7D. 05.01.2022 ******strengthening our passes****** Super important for the girls to watch and be practising their passes everyday, this will build strength in their upper body and ensure their passes improve. Great clip to watch with the girls and then head outside to ensure youv got good techique and direct powerfull passes, like i say, every pass matters

04.01.2022 Hi all Lots of photos today ( thanks to Kate ) as a couple of us couldn’t make it so thought I would just post lots ! Bel ... From the coach So so proud of how the girls played today, yes we made some mistakes on court but they all gave 100% for the entire game, and walked off the court at the end of the game exhausted which is how it should be. 03.01.2022 ******Some tips for the shooters******* Consistency is the key here, you should be aiming for more shots in than misses and should be able to shoot from areas all over the goal circle, working together as GA & GS to get that goal which your team mates have worked hard to get the ball down to you, so shooters find your nearest netball ring and get shooting

02.01.2022 *******So everyone is aware***** This is our last game prior to school holidays. We recommence playing games in 4 weeks time 10 october with the last 4 games of the season. Training will continue through the holidays just at an earlier time slot i will advise next week, please let me know via text if not training in the holidays, i would love to have full teams at training if at all possible but would like to know who is coming and who isnt.
