24.01.2022 3 amazing games to watch with all teams fighting it out till the end 3 runners up in 2020 Couldnt get better grand final games with all of the games being so close Well done Chancellor girls, coaches and all the parents, family and friends that supported the teams in the games last night, all games were fantastic games to watch and all players should be super proud of themselves

21.01.2022 Registrations for the 2021 season will open next week for any players turning 7-18 years old in 2021. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and also your emails, for the link to register. Netball Qld are now using a new platform - Netball Connect, for registering. This app can be downloaded from the App Store or google play. Fair play vouchers will also become available on Wednesday 20th January for those that are eligible. ... We can’t wait to welcome back our existing members and any new potential members.

Such a great bunch of girls that are truely embracing the fun side of netball. ... 17.01.2022 Exciting news - our official return to play is Saturday 11th July. Fire - Div 5 @ 7.30am Cyclones - Div 9 @ 7.30am Heat - Div 13 @ 7.30am... Blizzards - Div 17 @ 8.45am Hurricanes - Div 7 @ 10.00am Thunderstorm - Div 7 @ 10.00am Strikers - Div 11 @ 10.00am Twisters - NSG white @ 10.00am Lightning - Div 4 @ 11.15am Tornadoes - Div 16 @ 11.15am Hail - NSG white C @ 12.30pm Snowflakes - NSG Green @ 12.30pm The season will run for a full 14 weeks and finish in October. Uniforms will be ready to collect this Saturday from Kirsten’s house in Maroochydore (more info will be emailed tomorrow) or can be collected on the 11th July prior to start of game. Good luck to all teams. It will be great to see the girls return to the courts and a bit of normality. Players will be required to hand sanitise before and after games. We are still waiting to hear from SCNA, Netball Qld and council regarding rules for spectators at the complex.

16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, at this stage, games are still on tomorrow. Any cancellations will be posted on the Sunshine Coast Netball or our Facebook page. Scna will make a decision tomorrow morning between 6.30 and 7am.

16.01.2022 It's a lovely day for netball! Thank you to our first lot of volunteers for court set up so our girls can play the game they love. Remember, many hands make light work, so if we all do our 15mins, it will be a fair day to all involved. Thank you.

15.01.2022 Registrations open tomorrow for the 2021 season. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for the new link to register. It is a different process to last year so you will all register as new users A reminder that Fair Play Vouchers are also available from tomorrow for those eligible. You must have secured a voucher before registering.

15.01.2022 Covid Officer Required Netball Qld and SCNA are currently working on plans to get us back to training and playing. We need your help!! ... In order to commence training, we will need 1 (or 2 people working together) to cover all trainings before we can commence. As Committee and coaches are already busy with extra requirements, we really need some parent help to fill this position/s. As netball Qld is our governing body, plans will be in place and will need to be adhered to. We should know more by the end of this week. 07.01.2022 A friendly reminder that nominations to trial for the USC Netball Academy, Emerging Athlete Program for 2021 are due by Monday 11th January! The USC Netball Aca...demy Emerging Athlete Program (EAP), run by the University of the Sunshine Coast aims to seek out gifted athletes from Netball and other sporting backgrounds to provide an invaluable pathway, learning opportunity and access to elite player training programs. The program will be the underpinning program for the USC Thunder with a future focus towards representing the Sunshine Coast Lightning and aligned representative teams, and will provide talented athletes the opportunity to attend a 12 month training program developing key attributes and skills necessary to make it to the top of netball Athletes wishing to register to trial for the USC Netball Academy, must be a player with a Member Association. The USC Academy selectors will view individual athletes across the USC Thunder Trial process or the stand alone EAP selections to ease athlete selection process. A. Athletes wishing to trial for USC Thunder Teams and USC Netball Academy EAP program: Academy and Thunder Pre-screening Any athlete who has never played ruby or sapphire (or any state league equivalent ) before must register and attend our prescreening selections. Thursday 14th January 5pm - 8pm USC stadium You Must be turning 16 or older in 2021 to be eligible. Successful athletes will be invited to our thunder selections on Sunday 17th Jan.
