07.01.2022 As the sun went down I had decided I would walk back to my guest house but then I turned a corner into a dusty and sandy street, where some hazy lights lit up the road and I was really excited when I saw the quality of light. I saw these two young men walking confidently into the night, probably off to enjoy the festivities of the Camel Fair. Sometimes magic happens if you linger a little longer.

06.01.2022 I'm really looking forward to going back to India again next month. I like taking photos on my phone as well as my DSLR when I'm travelling because sometimes I find it to be less intrusive and really easy to grab a quick snap. Some things happen in a split second so a good phone camera can capture a great image. Don't be afraid to use them. Of course I always carry my DSLR (goes without saying) but iphone cameras are getting better and better and the creativity is up to you! Here are some pics I took on my iphone on previous trips in India.

06.01.2022 The Marwari horse is a rare breed originating in Jodphur, Rajasthan. They are distinct because of their inturned ears. Horses like this stallion which was being shown at the annual Pushkar Camel Fair can sell for over a million dollars.
