21.01.2022 We've received some feedback regarding who we should donate to. We want to make sure our community's money is going to where it's needed the most and we want to make sure we're doing the right thing by everyone involved. Please give us your feedback, its very welcomed. So here are the options we've come up with: 1- Local Rural Fire Service 2- Wildlife Rescue (not government funded) 3- Australian Red Cross (have teamed up with ABC to raise funds for the ground crews and suppo...rting those displaced by the fires in NSW, SA, VIC & TAS) 4- Salvation Army (have teamed up with Bendigo Bank to support fire stricken communities) 5- RFS (We'll have to pick one, from NSW, VIC, SA or TAS) 6- Other, your suggestions are all welcome. 20.01.2022 We have made our donation today! We chose Wildlife Volunteers Association (Wilvos) Sunshine Coast. We thought that would be the most symbolic coming from us - our mascot is a panda and koalas are basically just the Aussie panda! Since we made the pledge to donate at the start of these fires it has been so amazingly heartwarming to see the phenomenal amount of money being raised and given to so many great causes to help us in our bushfire crisis. Our tiny little contribution... will help in some small way to help rescue our beautiful and unique wildlife during this devastating bushfire season. Wilvos do amazing work for our community wildlife - they are purely volunteers and they need our support. Thank you again, to our community for supporting us so we can support others.

15.01.2022 New year, new containers! We've been hunting around for some different containers for a while and we found these from Biopak thanks to Sapps & Co Food & Beverage Distribution. They hold the same amount of Chan-Man yumminess, and they're made of the same material - sugar cane pulp so they're still the same environmentally friendly compostable-ness. Plus their shape makes them a lot more stable and wont knock around as much on the way home. As with the old ones, they are a bit... absorbent so it's recommended to transfer your food to a bowl when you take it home. *REMEMBER* Do not put these into your recycle bin! You can put them into your compost bin and they will fully decompose in about three months.

09.01.2022 It's been a rough day for so many in an already incredibly trying time. We've implemented some changes to our operations that we will be testing out during this time. Our biggest concern is our staff and their job security so we have shuffled things around to make sure we look after our little family who have looked after us so well from the beginning. 06.01.2022 Wow! What a week! We've seen some phenomenal donations being made towards Australia's bushfire appeal, so we feel really super tiny right now. From Friday the 3rd to Friday the 10th, we have put aside $1 from every main meal sold across both venues of Chan-Man. I've just done the count from the week and we will be donating an incredible $771 to a charity that we will decide upon tonight and reveal to you all tomorrow! We want to thank every singe one of you in our amazing community for your ongoing support. We are only a small family business and it doesn't seem like much, but it's the most we can do to help our country in need right now.

01.01.2022 We can't just sit back and watch these fires down South anymore considering how close we have been to tragedy not too long ago. So for this week, from Friday the 3rd until next Friday the 10th, we will be donating $1 from every main meal to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal. These guys have been doing amazing work on the ground supporting thousands of displaced and distressed people. It's not much, but it's a small token. Our hearts and thoughts go out to everyone who is battling right now.

We are taking extra measures of sanitizing all of our surfaces and constant hand washing and sanitizing. We also offer contactless deliveries as well. You can access our menu on our website at www.ChanManFans.com.au, call us with your order, pay over the phone and we can deliver to you. We can knock and leave your food at... your door without ever coming into physical contact with anyone. All our staff have also been advised to be extra vigilant with not only their hand hygiene but with any cold or flu symptoms and we are taking measures to protect our staff as well. We must stick together and act responsibly to protect our most vulnerable during these uncertain times. Hope you're all being safe and mindful. See more
