12.01.2022 Today I had the good fortune to sketch glass artist Kathy Elliot as she worked on a piece in her studio in Sydney's northern beaches. Kathy is using a glass lathe on a blown glass vessel. Tiny drops of water flow from a pipe above the piece clearing the ground glass to the bath below. I'm enjoying the little insights into how people create when I sketch them. Kathy and her husband Ben are exhibiting their recent work at Sabbia Gallery , Paddington 20 May - 13 June 2015.
