23.01.2022 What are the differences between guilt and shame? And how could it help our clients to have a better understanding of those differences? We thought it could be ...useful for you to have a side-by-side comparison of these powerful emotions that you could share with your clients. Because understanding these differences could help our clients begin to dismantle their negative self-judgments.

20.01.2022 It has been exciting to see the growth of chaplaincy in many different contexts in recent years. An area of rapid growth has been in that of Sport Chaplaincy. This is an encouraging article that presents a challenge to all in pastoral ministry to think around how chaplaincy can play a role in your wider ministry https://christiantoday.com.au//the-next-revival-chaplaincy

Here’s a fantastic FREE app that changes all that from Dementia Australia (it's availabl...e on Apple and Google Play for iPads or Tablets - not for smartphones because it needs a larger screen to enjoy) . September is ‘World Alzheimers Month’, so we’re answering your questions to help normalise discussion about dementia. Don’t be shy, ask us! . #WorldAlzMonth #DementiaAwarenessMonth #DoingDementiaDifferently #EndAlz #aBetterVisit See more

18.01.2022 On September 11 we remember the World Trade Centre attacks. I have always been moved by the fact that the first recorded casualty was FDNY Chaplain, Fr. Mychal ...Judge (registered as victim 0001). Remembering his faithful ministry and the other 343 firefighters and paramedics who lost their lives that day. It’s a privilege to follow and serve in the footsteps of such gracious servants of God’s grace like Fr Mychal. #fdnychaplain #000rev See more

02.01.2022 "We go to where the people are... in their time of need."' At this week's living for Christ, we invited Paul McFarlane to speak about the opportunities provided... by chaplains in the ambulance and wider hospital setting. He likened ambulance staff with the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37, who went out of his way to care for the needs of a stranger. Chaplains provide support to ambulance staff, their families, and bystanders at traumatic incidents. They assist with providing support, spiritual guidance, welfare services and pastoral care. Paul is the Senior Chaplain with NSW Ambulance and leads a team of NSW Ambulance Chaplains as part of his role. #christcollege #christforalloflife #christcollegesydney #livingforchrist #chaplaincytraining
